He doesn't set the best picks honestly.

Someone noticed. We do way more PnR’s with him but he always slips. If he set solid screens he will be open way more.

I just posted the stats of his effectiveness as the roll man.

You don’t have to hit them hard on a PnR for it to be maximized

They had no choice but to play like that because we completely shut down the paint. They had record low 2 point FGs -8 for the game hole game - and 27% FG% for the game. Thank you Mitch. Also we defended the shut out of their PGs and completely broke their offense.

If we didn’t miss our open shots, we would have won by 30.

That’s when he rolls tho. When he does he’s effective. However most of the time he slips because he isn’t a consistently good screener.

To be fair, the Nets missed 100 open threes. The game plan hasn’t really changed since Fiz, Nets broadcast even knew the Knicks game plan was shut down the paint and allow uncontested threes.

While I do agree that he has been disappointing lately, that the is mentality that has screwed this franchise over.

Dude is 19 y/o, 32 games into his rookie year, and gone through 2 coaches already. He barely even gets the rock. Not going to get into a rhythm if no one passes the rock to you while with the Randle & Morris show.

People gave up on Frank, Knox and DSJr after a half season of seeing them as Knicks. (they probably deserved it)

I favor the logically consistent approach of sh*tting on RJ's head as well.

Part of it is he needs to get a little stronger still but I hope he’s been working on it with Taj.

Yeah it's more of a ball handler issue on our team than it is a Randle issue. Our guards need a hard screen to create passing lanes except for Elfrid.
