Bad offense aside, your criticisms of him just scream of hate. He doesn't have to get his teammates anything. Buying them Switches is just a nice thing to do. What's he gonna get them, a 24/7 pass to Planet Fitness or the YMCA?

You also criticized him when a reporter asked him about the max.. of course he is going to say he wants it, players are under no obligation to PUBLICLY say they want to take a discount unless you're an obvious star like Dirk or somebody and getting paid under the table basically... and the fact is he wasn't worth the max and took WAY under it.. so your criticisms sound petty as hell.

I just dont like him as a player and i dont like his attitude as a professional. If you like watching unskilled player who is using your favourite team to padd his stats during his contract year( he admited it) and after he gets his money he just do whatever he wants dragging your team down. Its not like he is missing good shots like Ross and Vucevic early, he is selfishly taking the dumbest shot i saw from unskilled offensive player over and over again.

I never heard Vucevic or Fournier saying they want max contracts and they are both better players. Its just not something you say after a bad season when you are average player. It shows that something is wrong with his ego. I saw it 2 years ago, and every magic fan see it with their own eyes this season.

Of course AG doesnt have to buy teammates anything but he bought. Team is struggling, they need to focus on improving every day, they need to keep together as a team and not play video games.

I get your criticism of the player, especially this year, just disagree with some of the things you find annoying about him. I understand if he asked for a max and literally held out for a max, or like, idk, bought Switches for everybody then replaced it with coal or something but he seems like a good/honest dude, no matter how good or bad people think of his play, which is obviously subjective.

Also NBA players have way more down time than people think. I'm sure the coaches would 100% prefer them playing Nintento Switch and studying film than out partying or doing crazy **** with their friends.

Zaymon - Obviously its your right to feel that way. I just could not disagree more. AG makes mistakes, no question, but rarely if ever is it due to a lack of effort. Dude is all over the court hustling all over the place. He has a desire to succeed and achieve and he is one of my favorite Magic players (ability aside) -- not just now but of all time. That doesn't mean I wouldn't trade him for an upgrade but I guess from my perspective he is one of those guys you love and root for despite his flaws -- that's just me though. From my perspective what he did with his assists and team play last year was exceptional and the contract he took was clearly a team friendly deal. Everyone has their own perspective but, for mine, there is not a player that give more to and for the team then AG. Just fwiw.

I dont question his effort i question his understanding what it takes to win, how much you must sacrifice. Last year he definetly made steps in the right direction but this year its all falling apart. I will support him as long as he is on our team and wish him well when he is not, still as a magic fan i think he is the biggest reason we are not playing our basketball.

Well we are all different, we get annoyed by different things. Obviosly i dont know him and my opinion is worth very little but it was just a thing i found interesting and worrying about his mindset right now and in the past. Lets hope he starts to play better and shuts my mouth, Magic winning is all i care for really.
