When we play the clippers it should be a huge test for him. He will likely have to defend PG while being defended by both PG and Kahwhi. They may even try a lil pat beverly on him.

He's been a pleasant surprise for sure. I didn't think he had it in him to be a primary scoring option but he's proving me wrong. Keep it up Tobi!

People were clowning Tobias Harris in the off-season, like he was some bum. Tobias has been showing this stuff for the past two seasons.

There is maybe only 5 Forwards in the NBA that are more skilled than Tobias Harris. That's not to say he's a top 5 forward, because it takes more than skill. But if Harris continues to play with more assertiveness and confidence, he has the talent to keep this up. I think the fact that the 76ers are dependent on his scoring, is actually helping him evolve as a player.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Agreed - under rated player, numbers - 19.8 pts 7.0 rebs 32.5% 3pt. Over the last 16 games he’s averaging 22.1 points and 41.2% from deep. Improving D plus other intangibles deserves all star recognition.

After that abysmal early season 3pt games, he's heating up. He's averaging 20 ppg, with 0.348% from 3pt with 7 boards and good defense for the season. Probably will miss the allstar, since the 76ers are not in a great position, but he's a good player.

The missing step for Harris is getting comfortable shooting when he's going north-south. His balance is really shaky when he's shooting off the dribble. The difference with his three point shots after a pump-fake and side step is night and day. If he can add that shot to his repertoire he becomes an entirely different animal imo.

Really respect him for the massive defensive improvement.

Given the Sixers record, he's an allstar lock this year.

Even if we were a lower playoff seed, he'd be on the fringe and almost worthy. Impressive season from Tobias.

There is an argument to be made that Tobais Harris killed the process.

He cost 2 first round picks + Shamet for 20+ regular season games and 12 playoff games and the right to overpay him in the summer with a 5 year 180 million contract.

Why didn't we just trade for Gallo (who was the better player, under contract for a year longer, cheaper for next season, and likely would have cost less in a trade) keep Shamet + a pick and re-sign Butler.

Gallo was better by Tobais in both advanced metrics and regular metrics last season and he isn't afraid to let it fly unlike Tobais.

Gallo also had a crazy high free throw rate. Imagine Embiid Butler Simmons and Gallo on the same team. That would be the most hated team in the league due to the amount of foul drawing lol.

We were 2nd in fta last year due to Embiid and Butler now we are 23rd with Embiid the only guy drawing fouls and the team is anemic without him at the ft line they only got 12 total attemps the other game.

All of our trades and transactions have been incredibly mediocre after Hinkie.

Aside from Embiid, all the guys we drafted in the lotto didnt live up to their expectations.

The picks didnt materialize to what were hoping it to be. Who are we fooling.. its mostly second rounders and the kings pick that ended up with a player who’s never going to be better than a near retirement Rajon Rondo.

The cap space that guys like LeBron just used it as a leverage to get what they want.

It’s far from Tobi’s fault. And specially after we just gave up a bunch of average joes and future average joes.

Really?

Jimmy butler trade was a steal.
Tobias Harris trade was a steal.

These two deals have way more net value than the Jrue Holiday for Nerlens and Dario deal or the cap space for kings pick (eventually Romeo Langford; who tf is he?)

The whole reason the Clippers moved Harris was because his contract was up. They didn't want to sell off Gallinari because of his value as a trade chip in a bigger package (for instance, the Paul George acquisition).

And even if we were to identify Gallo as the trade target, he's not the most durable guy in the world. That could have been egg on our face, too. Tobias was also 4 years younger than him.

I agree Butler and Tobias trades were steals. Jimmy got us a star in which is a risk but I’m also happy we got J Rich who I feel is a Covington upgrade. Tobias is a Dario upgrade and better player. He’s also young and durable. If we could could of swapped Zhaire and kept Zhamet it would of been a robbery. Brand has done a solid job. Ben Simmons with a jump shot would of made this Horford acquisition look solid as well. I look at Horford as a chess move in which he weakened Boston, solved back center issues, got a Gianni’s stopper and now we don’t have to worry about Horford shutting down Simmons and Embiid every year in our division.

Brand needs to get a playmaker and some snippers to fix this Simmons mess. Than we still are on course.

4th quarter points per game
Tobias Harris 5.3
Jimmy Butler 5.2

Jimmy Butler is first option

After the Bulls game, the Sixers plays worst when Tobias is off the court. Surpassing Biid. (.3 vs .8)

I'd be perfectly satisfied at 4 years, $100m.
