I drove all the way to LCA to see the Pistons beat Pop and the Spurs, but they're not evenhere. Oh well... guess I'll see Trans-Siberian Orchestra instead.

What a sad game. Both teams are terrible.

Blake's play & his salary are anchors around the necks of the Pistons. Two for 10 in the first half for blake. Pistons are tanking in plain sight with Blake Griffin on the floor

You know, we just about got off of Josh Smith's stretched salary but then Blake's health gives up on us with his massive contract right behind him. Making him the de facto "Josh Smith" again
Everything comes full circle.

We're literally letting them bomb 3s on us. It's pretty sad.

Coming into tonight's game there are 4 pistons who are shooting 40% from the three not Counting Luke. Tonight those four players in the first half took 11 3-point shots. Blake who came into tonight's game averaging less than 24% from the three took 10 3 point shots in the first half and made 3. This is a circus.

We are Spurred to greatness again.
What was up with Wood? He didn't light up the box score, but easily had the best box score for his 22 minutes played.

I tuned in for the 3rd only to see Blake miss layups and badly on 3s. I gave up after about 10 minutes which seem like 10 mins too long.
Ain't going to waste my life on this bad product, and Gores has to realize that soon enough...

Only hope is that this trip is enough to get management to wake up.
Eh, who am I kidding.
I’m a pretty busy dude and I’ve given up way too much of my spare time watching this team/reading about this team/speculating in this team.
Anyone else on this board feel like their fanship is just an outdated computer program running in the background of their mind? Something that was relevant and brought joy long ago but now it’s just taking up valuable memory space.
If only it were so easy to uninstall...
And yeah, I realize I’m more or less shouting into the ether here, there’s not much of an audience here, especially not in a day old game thread. But hey, it’s therapeutic.

I don’t watch at all anymore either. And I don’t mean that in a “screw this team, I refuse to watch them” defiant way; it literally doesn’t even occur to me that they’re playing. Same with the Wings.

Not sure why anyone in the "blow it up" crowd is upset about this type of loss. We've got to be at least this bad before Gores is going to throw in the towel. If we come back 12-26, that would put us around the 4-5th pick. This draft isn't supposed to be great, but there is some talent at the top - as always.
The real prize would be hitting a complete reset for the 2021 season and cashing in on that stacked draft.

I’m not upset about the loss. I am upset that the team is in a state where losses might benefit us, and am upset that we’re still trying to reach the playoffs meaning we may never get to start anew, which I have craved for a decade now.

I’m with the “blow it up” crowd and am definitely not upset about this loss; I’d rather see this team lose every single game for the rest of the year. First, it gives the Pistons a higher draft pick. Second, it reiterates that this team is nowhere close to being a “win now” candidate, and something has to change. That being said, it certainly isn’t enjoyable to watch.
