Would you have done Galloway for Exum and two seconds?

So what you're saying is that Portland wants to trade Luke and Bruce + filler for Lillard and McCollum?

DONE. Send them over. Oh wait--that's NOT the trade being proposed?

At this point all discussion of Blake being traded should stop.

It's not happening unless things fundamentally change with him. Heck, even if he starts playing better the injury and play thus far this season probably sets off enough red flags that nobody will touch him.

Agreed. Nobody is touching that contract at this point unless A.) Blake returns to form and proves himself worthy of star money for 20+ games or B.) Pistons add multiple first rounders to get rid of him. I honestly think Detroit's best bet is to hold onto him and hope he improves, even if it means he's a Pistons while we start a rebuild. He seems like a good locker room guy and leader at least.

Not sure about that.

I think Hornets/Heat take a hard look at Blake for different reasons.

Heat (Kelly O, James Johnson, and Dion for Kieff and Blake)
- Kieff replaces Kelly O on the cheap
- Johnson/Dion arent playing anyways
- Riley takes a huge gamble but Blake wont be asked to do as much as he was in LA/Detroit

Hornets (Batum/Zeller for Blake)
- Jordan wants butts in the seats
- Griffin is signed to Jordan Brand

Even if that happen nobody is touching him. His story of injuries is enough to make people stay away from him. You know he's going down and will miss a lot of games almost every season. Last season was atypical, and even last season he got injured when we needed him the most.

Blake is not going anywhere until his contract is an expiring contract.

I can only see the Knicks interested in Griffin. He is a good role model for the young players and good for selling tickets. In addition, they have some assets whose value is going down quickly and they have to deal them asap.

Randle+Smith Jr sounds fair.

But what's the point for us?
We're better holding onto him and hoping he regains his health so we can get decent prospects and/or picks
