This place is far too toxic these days. I’m not going to write up a dissertation like some do here but just wanted to let you guys know that I won’t be posting again, at least for a long while.

I dont see any reason to stop posting. It gets heated but we all just love the team and have different opinons with how to make the team successfull. But its obviously your call. Take care

So many boooorrring pointless arguments these days, all dressing up opinion as fact. Very arrogantand selfish of some to keep doing it.

It seems like the most negative posters are also the ones posting the most. They really bring the vibe in the game threads down. One of the posters even managed to become a moderator.

I understand. I could never fully leave, but I'm sure people have noticed that I haven't posted as much this season. Our team is miserable, the games are miserable, the game threads are miserable. I still have to watch, and I still have to post to some extent, because that is my lot in life. But this is definitely the most miserable it has ever been for me in my time as a diehard fan (which dates back to 2002, when I started watching every game). It's obviously not the worst team we've had, but given that we're so many years deep into this post-Dwight valley, and still have such a mediocre team to show for it with no real end in sight, makes it the most miserable I've ever been as a Magic fan.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

It's tough. You can only have the same conversation with the same people so many times.

Unlike Blitz, the Dwightmare was enough for me to need a break, and I suffered through the 'Jacque Vaughan era' on my own, figuring that this place would only make it harder to enjoy basketball...

After the Magic's play last season I thought I would drop in to see what the chatter was like, and most of the guys I butted heads with are gone (but then so are most of the guys I had good interaction with)... I guess thats just the way websites like this are going now, all the conversations are moving to social media instead and most people don't have the attention span to read through a well thought out, longer post.

I stopped posting so much a long time ago. I continue to read but being an active member is far gone from me now. Hopefully things will change soon. I pop on once in a while and comment on a few things but usually after I post something i don’t even log back on. So I have no clue what anyone says about it. And I tend to like it that way. Anyways not that I knew you but I definitely knew your user name. Hope to see you post once in a while.

Your last post before this was insulting someone based on who they voted for. It seems like toxic would be your cup of tea :D

I am 86% kidding with you and 14% trolling you. Hopefully you are able to take the joke :(

I'm trying to figure who he was talking about. Since you responded, I'm guessing it was you?

I personally don't think any of our mods are "negative posters." Obviously, most mods would like to move in a different direction, but I wouldn't see that as a negative neccessarily.

Farewell, man. I've been debating leaving for good these last couple of months as well. There have been times these last few years where I've debated taking long breaks from this forum, but it's been mostly because of the state of the team. This has been the first time since I've joined I've actually considered leaving because of the quality of the board taking a big hit.

I love healthy debate, && I feel that I've gotten a lot of it on this board since I've joined but I think one poster, in particular, has taken things to a level where debate just isn't enjoyable anymore. I figured the easy thing to do would be to put him on my ignore list but then I realized that you still get notifications when that poster quotes you, still see when he posts, and will still see what was posted when another poster quotes him.

So I'm not really sure where ill go from here. I have a lot of respect for many posters on this board and there is nowhere else I actively post when it comes to discussing this team so it makes the decision a tough one. I could give Reddit another try but I still think its a bit casual for my taste.

I'm hoping that things start to take a turn for the better because I'm thinking at this point it's probably best if I walk away soon as well.

Let's just admit it, it was pepe's bickering on every thread.

Just messing around man. He does make some good points, but he is also in the middle of every arguement. But I guess this is a forum, idk if id consider that toxic.
