We'd have to play Lauri at SG.

Gordon is starting at SF for Orlando and he would here too, except it would be a better fit with Lauri being a much better shooter than Isaac.

I would assume the plan would be to play LAVINE and Gordon Together, Thad young and Kriss Dunn plus couple 2nd rd picks for Gordon

IMO Gordon is lacks the ability to be an allstar. Folks get to enamored with dunking ability, but Gordon is limited in what he can do. He is a mediocre ball handler, passer, distance shooter and defender. Pass.

I'd say how Orlando is using him is a mistake.

His scoring efficiency is 48% TS which is the same as Kris Dunn. He's never been below 51% TS his career.
His PER is 13, the lowest since his rookie year.

I think when someone trades for Gordon, it will be to move him somewhere where he can be more productive at PF. But trading for the SF Gordon currently in ORL doesn't make a lot of sense to me as he's a very unproductive starting SF.

His IQ is worse than Lavine’s. That’s saying something too.

What a hell you are talking and are you drunk ?
Why Lauri should play SG he's a PF if you haven't realized.

He and Isaac are both PF, so they kind of split the duties. I’m saying he could guard the opposing SF, but would be able to operate more of the PF offensively since Lauri is mostly standing out on the perimeter.

KAT has the cache to move Zach down in the pecking order. WCj wants to play PF and would still be a good complement to KAT.

When would you want to see this trade. At the trade deadline or on draft night?

Do the Bulls have the assets to trade for both KAT and Bradley Beal? It would be a complete blow up of this core but the Bulls would have a much stronger team with both KAT and Beal.

Zach + Felicio for Jrue Holiday.

Eventually, we could even play Holiday and Coby together because Holiday has the size, and can also handle the ball.
Why so serious?

Trade Dunn for Malik Beasley.

He’s out of the rotation in DEN and was exceptional last year.

Dunn would be huge for the Nuggets in the playoffs.

Beasley would help us win these close games without Otto.

I'm doubting we can dump Thad, would be happy to dump him for scraps. The deal for Harkless sounds too good to be true.

I still doubt anyone will give us more than an aging vet or a 2nd for Dunn, despite his improved play. I'd be thrilled if we could somehow couple Dunn with Felicio for an expiring.

I wonder if the Wolves would do something like: Otto, Coby, WCJ, and Thad plus 2 or 3 unprotected firsts for KAT and Wiggins.

They got off of Wiggins contract, get a bunch of picks, two good-ish young players, and two veterans on short deals.

Wiggins is not a guy I'd want on this team. I'm also not keen on throwing in multiple picks for KAT - Maybe 1.

I'd rather just go after Covington.

not sure what Minnesota wants as far as return, future assets? felicio + a pick and a swap?

hutch & filler + a pick and a swap?

Seems like he would solve our 3/4 problems.

sato/dunn/arci
zach/coby/shaq
opj/Covington/val
lauri/young
wcj/gaff.

Why has Beasley fallen out of their rotation? He was pretty good last year. I know he got into some sort of fight this year (I think with an NFL player?), but seems to be okay now.

Would Dunn be enough to get him?

Per wiretap, Andre Drummond is expected to be traded by the February deadline. Atlanta has offered Parson's expiring contract and a protected first. I love Drummond and think he's significantly better both now and long-term than Carter. I would offer:

Wendell Carter and Otto Porter for Andre Drummond and Derrick Rose

Carter is better than a protected first-round pick and Detroit can afford to eat Porter's contract for an additional year as they start to re-tool. Drummond and Derrick should give us a chance to make a strong push for the 8th seed, especially since the Magic just lost Jonathan Isaac for at least two months. Drummond also gives us the size we're lacking, shot-blocking we don't have, and a strong rebounder to cover for Lauri.

New Lineup:

C.Drummond/Gafford/Kornet
PF.Lauri/Young
SF.Satoransky/Valentine/Hutch
SG.LaVine/White
PG.Rose/Dunn/Archi
