No, there isn't. But I think players ratings change during the season. I think that if a player's current rating is below his potential rating then it could go up probably depending on his playing time, his happiness and performances during the season. I think ratings can drop, too, if a player has a serious injury or if he doesn't have much playing time, if he's not happy, etc.
