So, in terms of Dre. Assuming it is determined that he will test free agency (50%?) and we will be outbid for him (since we do't want to pay too much -> 70%?). We will be looking at two options:
1) Dre leaves leaving cap space for 20-21
2) We get expirings from someone like Atlanta and a protected (lottery?) leaving the same cap space for 20-21 AND another 1st round pick

If this is all how things shake out, I choose option #2

Drummond for Turner, Hunter

Turner is filler. Hunter is an old rookie who hasn't been anything special so far but still has some good potential. Drummond is a proven allstar level center and the top FA.

there are folks on the Warriors forum who want a Drummond for DLo trade. How do you fans feel about it?

I'd take that over a crappy mid round first any day of the week. DLo is still young.

Maybe 2 trades?

Drummond to Warriors for DLo

Blake and Snell to Hawks for Parson, Turner, Reddish, Nets 1st

Then move Rose/Morris for best pick and/or rookie contracts we can find.

What do you think?

Perfect for both teams which means it won't happen.

You would be hard pressed to get a better PG out of this draft, and the warriors would kill to have a C like Andre.

It makes to much sense.

I’d rather have a 1st rounder for Dre but don’t have any problem with Reddish either. Way too early to close the book on him imo.

I’d be happy with any deal at this point. Way better than to let him walk for nothing which increasingly likely if we don’t trade him.

That and how many of our draft picks did we let go for virtually nothing. Too many to count which is one of those damages that won’t be realized until later.

Hawks need a center, preferably with defense, rim protection or rebounding. Blake is a PF who provides none of those things. Not to mention they have John Collins who is their current and future PF. When making trade scenarios you need to make the trade make sense for both sides, not just the Pistons.

I actually wanted this as a win now move when Blake was healthy to take some of the scoring load.

On a rebuilding team? I'm not so sure. I don't think his ability to put it in the cup is of as much value for us now. I dunno if he makes his teammates better and is our future PG. Still, he might be our best offer and will still hold value as a future tradeable asset.

I'd pass, DLo plays no defense and is on a 30 mil per year contract.

Yeah, I don't think it makes sense for either team TBH.
