I'd actually prefer them give us:

Parsons (clears some space under the tax line for other possible deals)

Brooklyn pick (possibly this year, if not it'll be 2021)

Lotto protected Hawks pick (likely 2021)

Not a fan of Cam Red as a prospect - Hawks FO obviously was.

2 picks for Dre is a great deal for us.

Cam Reddish has been trash but when he is on he looks like a star. I would definitely take a flyer on him. Dream scenario is trade for Reddish and the BKN pick and tank. Draft Cole Anthony with our pick and Isaiah Stewart with the BKN pick.

Anthony
Kennard
Reddish
Doumbouya
Stewart

We should be thinking along these type of lines.

That would be sweet, i was already thinking of Stewart with that Brooklyn pick as well.

Not happening Ed.

Your backwards on the protection. The pick converts if Brooklyn makes the playoffs. Its lottery protected meaning the only way the pick doesnt convert is if Brooklyn doesnt make the playoffs over the next 3 years

You need 2-way wings, 2-way shooting bigs, and you can't allow low iq players on the court. Assist/turnover ratio is crucial. Shooting point guards are icing on the cake IF they are plus defenders.

I'm trying to find a for sure extra first rounder. A 2nd round pick for Dre won't cut it.

what in the world are you talking about? its the other way around. If Nets make the playoffs, then the pick is traded

Just give me Parsons, Turner, Bkn pick, 2nd rd pick for Drummond and Reggie and I’d be ecstatic. This is all about the direction the team is finally heading in.

Parsons
BK pick
Atl 1st round pick 2021 or 2022

Absolutely no Hayward. It's brown and a pick, for Andre and anyone else not named Kennard and the rookie.

That's a hardline for me. I don't care how Boston fan reacts as they are detached from reality to begin with. If they don't like it, fine. Atlanta it is.

I want a young player(prospect or youngish)and a pick, period.

Boston is in an undesirable position right now. They need a legit C and everyone knows it. They have to do something.

We'll see how it works out.
I dont see Boston as a fit. I’m guessing Ainge is just doing his due dillegence as would any Gm any time a player becomes available. If they were interested, wouldn’t they just need to beat the second best offer? Reading through this board, i have not seen one player coming back to Detroit even close to Brown never mind an additional pick. If the Atlanta trade is centered around Redish and a nets protected pick you can’t really think Boston is going to offer Brown plus do you? Boston fans may be insane but making the leap from Redish and pick to Brown and pick is equally insane.

Put Snell and LG instead of Reggie. We'll already be getting rid of Reggie this summer. Snell would be nice to dump since he still has another year left. Maybe instead of LG, who is done this summer, we toss in Rose and they can give us their lotto protected pick and the Brooklyn pick and Cam Reddish

I'd rather Turner than Parsons. Parsons and Griffin would spend too much time partying it up if on a team together.

Also consider if we're bringing back two or more players we're at the 15 roster max, meaning we need to cut player to make room before a trade. So more likely we send out more players to balance the trade vs just cutting a Khyri Thomas.

WTF difference does it make if they're out partying? At this point they can show up to the games on PCP. What does it really matter?

Well Griffin is signed for more seasons yet. He should be focused on basketball and getting healthy and that should be Detroit's hope as well so he comes back healthy next season so we could maybe trade him.

Griffin starts getting a party boy image while the team sucks and he's out injured and it would destroy his fan reputation here and hurt his trade value. We'd be stuck with him and ill will towards him.

TMZ videos of Griffin and Parsons out on the town might be the most entertaining Pistons clips from this season.

Bruh, he's already untradable as per RealGM. Right? So what difference does it make? If you think Turner is a better asset and prefer him then so be it. But to think a grown ass professional like Griffin can fall victim to the peer pressure of Chandler Parsons...... I mean geez.

^Yeah not because Griffin didn't have a certain image in LAC. And for that matter Parsons doesn't have that same reputation. And those images of them both out on the yacht in Spain somewhere this past off-season already don't exist. I mean those backflips off the guard rail must have been great rehab for his injured knees.

I'm not sure about the hype for Luke Kennard! He's a role/6th man type of player. I would include him with the Drummond deal as a sweetener. He not a legitimate nba starter imo

Yep because doing a backflip puts 10x the stress on your knees as, umm, just jumping. The only thing that's going to matter to another trading for Blake (or wanting to) is, is he healthy, are we willing to take the risk? Not narratives.

Sure I'd be all over it. You're talking about a deal to get us Trae Young right?
