as tantalizing as lamelo's potential is, he needs to shoot it better to unlock that upside. it's not a sure thing but he's around a .700 ft shooter and has good touch, so there's some reason for hope.

last year culver and rj were guys with shooting red flags. culver's high school shooting stats were extremely bad, but he's improved on that a bit. but it's still a reason i thought he had more risk than his all around game indicated. it was just a trade down draft.

this year it's about the same. killian hayes is pretty beast and has the same offensive hub upside as lamelo. he only lacks explosive athleticism, but is a good shooter. if given the choice of lamelo at 2/3 or hayes and another pick i'd go with hayes.

If we’re around 4-6. I take Tyrese Haliburton and run. He reminds me of LeVert/Lonzo Ball put together.

Love the thought of lamelo. But exactly who I’m 2020 free agency are we adding that are gonna be in the lineup with lamelo and Mitch.

Randle is tied to us currently and this regime (no guarantee they get fired)
Barrett high pick and isn’t gonna be benched. Gonna be given big minutes and his shooting won’t be amazing by next year.
At the 2 maybe you add someone in free agency but that’s off the thought that someone would be willing to come here.

Lineup next year at best would be
Ball / ? / Barrett / randle / Mitch

That spacing is still bad and I’m a big believer in melo but man if he didn’t come out the gate shooting 37% from 3 and our sg wasn’t a sniper then we’d be screwed.

I'll assume he'll go a few picks after the Knicks take a can't shoot PG or no motor SF.

Does Haliburton’s shot and slow release worry anyone. I see his percentages and I like his vision but something doesn’t sit right with me

SGA 2.0. could be a mulligan on that horrible scouting mistake in 2018.

something about edwards gives me markelle fultz at washington vibes. not saying he'll be a spectacular bust like that but it seems like his draft hype is overblown and few are willing to question it

So say this is our 3,4,5 next year Barrett - randle - Mitch

If you could choose to what Combo you pick me to go with them
Lamelo/ Beasley
Van fleet / Edwards
Cole Anthony / bogdonavic
Haliburton / Beasley or bogdonavic
