I don't think there is any use comparing them. They play different positions, but Luka is breaking records and averaging like 29/9.6/9 with over a 61.2% TS%, and looks to be on pace to be one of the best players ever.

Ayton is a very solid player already and will only get better, and yes, not playing games because of his suspension and injury have slowed down his development.

I know. I was looking at league leaders in stats earlier and started to get annoyed when I kept seeing him pop up lol. Carlisle is a hell of a coach, I like Monty but there's no way to know if he would of used Luka as well.

Back to Ayton. My point was that while yes, the scale heavily tilts towards Luka/Trae this whole perception (that we made a massive mistake drafting him) changes if we're above .500, in the heart of the playoff race, with Ayton being our rock in the middle-with all of these things happening one yr removed from us being the 2nd worst team in the league.

You cant complain about disrespect from other teams and at the same time pay no attention to who we play TONIGHT and just assume they'll suck because its the knicks. It doesnt get much more hypocritical. They played outstanding, clever, with heart and Morris kept hitting big shot after big shot. I dont care wether its the Knicks or Bucks, they played well and that was the reason for their lead, not the Suns being bad. That is just radiant negativity all over.

Quoting myself to stress this point. Check out tonights game of LAC vs. Knicks. OK Kawhi resting but still. THe knicks missed more than a dozen FT i think and only lost by 3 in a high scoring battle that took all LA had to win. 3 guys over 30 pts!! Dont underestimate a young motivated team. This was a great win.
