pathetic showing from clippers, but realistically cant expect a chalm zone team to be ready for a 12pm game

would be funny if memph could get the 8th spot and give bos the 16th pic

The draft isn't an easy thing to judge after the fact, it really is a crap shoot. You have to draft on the basis of team needs and hope you don't go for broke.

In that sense, Barrett was a great pick. Like, I was incensed at both the Herro and Bam picks because those guys were undoubtedly 'fit-picks.' Like, our most talented guys at the time were Rich, Winslow, Dragic and Dion and we were making fit-picks like we were phucking contenders. Holy chit, I thought Riles might have flew one over the cuckoo's nest. Preparation, but some luck, got us Jimmy, and Bam/Herro/Nunn/Robinson all coalescing at once(not contenders, but close enough to call some of those calls just *in hindsight)

Bam wasn't a fit-pick and Herro was probably BPA.

BPA is subjective, I won't argue that. But very hard to see a scenario where either pick was a ceiling/upside pick where they were chosen. Both out up meh seasons with glaring flaws. I see Bam as a fit-pick cause we knew Hassan wasn't a part of Heat's future at that time-- not sure how else to see that pick at the time, so in that context I see them as fit picks

There were around a hand full of prospects that went after Herro that were generally rated higher, but opinions vary. Doesn't matter now
