Casey wasn't the coach Bill made a mistake it was Sam Mitchell.

 Okay I thought I was tripping and then said maybe I remembered wrong. That’s my bad.

Still that was perplexing. Who uses Drummond there to advance the ball and go for the quick two?

5 blocks, 9 boards off the bench is enormous.

Now I can see why they are listening to trade offers for Kuz. He wasn’t doing anything all game.

Lakers lucked out and coasted to that W. Gave way too many free throws to Detroit and the complacency/inconsistency was apparent again tonight. But a win is a win I guess.

Sam Mitchell was the coach.
USA Celtics in full effect. Amazing chemistry building experience right there for the main core of the team

We "found a way to win"... Tired of those kind of games... We seem to always be finding a way to win, instead of just beating up on teams.
Our second unit sucks ass still too... Rondo needs to go on a Pilgrimage or something and let someone else play.

Need more consistent offense from Kuz but his D is solid... More offense from Caruso too.

I liked when AD went away from the Lebron iso and drove it to the rim himself and got the goaltend. Sorry Lebron, but your iso game been weak lately.

It royally sucks -- we had four different double-digit leads and blew them all -- but it happens. This would have been our first legitimately bad loss of the season, so at least we pulled our heads out of our ass long enough to add another W to the pile.

3 players with 5+ blocks.

Has that happened before? Like ever?

I'm trying to think of how we overcome the non LeBron minutes problem, and for now it's simple: Don't play Rondo. Because his play is making a problem become even MORE of a problem.

While Bradley is out, go with the following rotation:

Starters: KCP/Green/LeBron/AD/McGee with Kuzma (30-35 MPG), Caruso (30-35 MPG), Howard (20 MPG) and maybe Daniels or Dudley for a shift or two depending on the match-up to provide spacing.

Play 2 of Kuzma/LeBron/AD at the same time always.

PG: KCP [32]/ Caruso [16]
SG: Green [32]/ Caruso [16]
SF: LeBron [35]/ Kuzma [13]
PF: Davis [24]/ Kuzma [24]/
C: McGee [15]/ Howard [20]/ Davis [13]/

I feel you. He doesn't have that turnaround jumper in his bag anymore. Just part of aging and losing a little bit of vert. His midpost game is atrocious this year. He single handedly dismantled Oladipo's Pacers and the Celtics a couple years ago in the playoffs with that move and now it's just gone for him.

Yeah when I saw it live I thought Drummond had a pull up 3 in his game that he's been hiding lol.

Not calling you out as I have no basis to do so... but this is typical of Lakers fans. We have zero patience when it comes to young players. The same fans who are screaming trade Kuzma will be asking how do we trade for Kuzma in 2 years.

One of the trades I proposed was Rose + Galloway for Kuzma. Just throwing that out there.

Doesn't make much sense to trade anything for Rose when you can possible get Collison for free.

In case you haven’t read it about 10 times already Sam Mitchell was the coach.

We gotta learn to put away games like this well before the 4th Q.

The block party against a team shooting 26 3s on 78 attempted FG is real nasty.

Svi became an elite sharpshooter once he left LA, no surprise here, the trend continues.

PD: Rondo and Kuz are both killing any lead the team has. It is time to make some moves.
