Love had every right to do that. OKC has Chris Paul on him in the post. The Cavs have been running this stupid **** offense all year where Garland and Sexton just iso dribble at half court for the majority of the shot clock.

Yes, Love signed the extension, but good lord that team is completely mismanaged in every way possible.

Did you watch the whole play ??? Because he literally strolls across halfcourt with about 12 seconds left on the shotclock, and makes no indication that he wants the ball

His hand is up the whole time and he’s screaming, “pass the **** ball” lol. If you watch the Cavs play this is their **** offense. They get in these sets and never run them, instead Garland and Sexton stand at half court dribbling away the shot clock. It’s very ugly. The ball never moves.

I know we never thought we could say this as Bucks fans, but the regular season is frankly kinda boring for us right now due to all the blowouts and seemingly clear run to the 1 seed, barring a Giannis injury of course.

So, yea Cleveland lets kick things off and get weird. Let's see some stuff start happening. Hopefully that doesn't make LA/Boston/Phi/Mia any better.

GhostofSkima said that and while I agree, I'm enjoying the ride! It's fun to see our 3rd stringers go -10

Thankfully Giannis, being Greek, knows not to :D

I'm not bored at all. Before last year the Bucks have been mediocre or terrible for all of my adult life except for '00-'01. I'm enjoying every game of this.

Of course I'm enjoying it all as I'm in the same boat as you. But, let's be real not having to watch most 4th quarters and going into most games knowing there is almost no chance to lose is a bit uneventful. Maybe that's a better word than 'boring'. And having Giannis's craziness to watch is at least a big thing too that helps.

For example, Saturday I was out and NFL playoff on one and Bucks on the other. Normally, I'd care more about the Bucks but I know we'd win that game and it was nothing to worry about so I found myself on the NFL more and just checking Bucks score to make sure it was going as it should. Or say you're an Alabama fan of the last 10ish years. After the first couples years wouldn't most games just be boring outside of the 3 big games each year. Sweet, we just beat Kent St by 63.

I mean I don't think you're totally wrong. It's been different on this board too with the constant winning, people really have to reach for something to complain about and the board is always more alive and active when there is a little turmoil. If Giannis signs the supermax (basketball gods willing) and this continues for another 5-6 years then yeah, it's going to start feeling normal and old hat. Right now, I'm still in the honeymoon phase.

This, so much. It's crazy how many people seem to be taking this short amount of success for granted already. Starting with the 90-91 season through the 17-18 season, the Bucks won less than 44% of their games. A year and not even a half of great basketball shouldn't spoil any of us.

At the very least, seasons like this won't start feeling mundane until I've experienced the Bucks winning a championship.

Craziest thing is we're one damn signature away from being as good as this for the next 6 years.

I spend every day trying my best not to think about how the fate of this franchise for better part of this new decade is riding on this.

Or one or two bounces in game vs Tor in game 3 from already having one title in the bag. Which would virtually guarantee that signature happens.

What stacked team is going to recruit another superstar after GIannis beats them in the Finals?

I'd most be afraid of GSW in this scenario. GSW will have Steph/Klay back and then have Russell's contract + top 5 pick to get someone. Biggest fear being KAT.

Or, Boston getting KAT. That's the guy I fear gets added to to a contender and it becomes a big problem for us.

Lillard too, even though he's preached loyalty.

Boston doesn't have the assets anymore though? They have the Memphis pick (top 6 protected, unprotected in 2021) as their only valueable asset. They obviously have their own picks and could mount a PG-type offer (would have troubles matching salaries without Hayward) but the times where they could just dangle those BKN picks in front of you are over. We'll soon have the same amount of picks available and unless Lopez or Middleton become one no bad contract in sight.

If this team doesn't somehow implode, we're in a very good spot long term (and thus shouldn't morgage our future for a slightly better shot at the championship this year).

Enjoy the journey. The destination (a championship) is the ultimate prize, but clowning most teams while observing Giannis' greatness and then getting to laugh at Pat, Thiannis, DJ, Sterling, and Bender out there doing trying to blow 30 point leads is amazing.

The Bucks are what Bill Simmons thought the Celtics would be last year.

Remember this is the franchise that had agreed to trade the Giannis pick to rent Josh Smith so they could be ready for that 1-8 match up with Lebron's South Beach Superstars.
