Sure. We will likely have 3 picks next year.

I would do something like Poirier, Semi, and Edward plus our first for Bertans. We don’t have to give up anyone up that is a major contributor and we sure up a roster weakness.

On NBC sports they were just saying its going to take a good haul to get Bertans. They said Memphis pick, Theis, and Grant Williams.

I think would pass on him. No way we can give up that package.

They were interviewing a "insider" on the situation and thats the package he brought up. Who knows though.

Kuzma's not happening. He's the centerpiece for a future KAT trade.

Just swap Poirier one to one

How much salary do we have to send out to match for Bertans?

Has anyone thought about trying to get Jae Crowder? He doesn’t shoot like Bertans, or have his size, but he could be effective as a small ball 4 and backup 3.

The Hollinger & Duncan podcast actually talked about a Crowder to Boston deal having potential legs like 30min into their latest episode. Depends on his market, but they said something like the CLE 2nd as the main incentive in a deal.

I’d imagine if Kuzma is available and the lakers have interest in bertans like reported the 2 teams may be able to find some common ground to get a deal done. Bertans and green on the floor with lebron woukd be deadly

I always have been a big Marcus Smart fan, still am so don't take this the wrong way since any player can be talked about in a trade.

But could the Celtics currently get anything in a small package centered around Smart that would help the team THIS year? A big/someone better off the bench shooting etc.

Jesus Christ that’s a horrible trade. I wouldn’t give up Theis for him alone lol

Huh interesting. I really don’t think Crowder is that good (one of the most overrated role players of the past few seasons) but would be sorta cool having him back.

I’d take him over Semi.

Just a thought so don’t take it too seriously but would we possibly entertain the thought of trying to get Adams & Rose ?
Would mean Smart goes which would suck specially on the defensive end but we get a guy who can run the second unit better than Smart & a big who can help us in the paint.
I love Smart which is why I’m not too sure on it but it would be interesting to see other people’s takes.

It feels like they want to use wannamaker in a trade. Lately wannamaker has been playing bad and waters is playing even in games where there is no need to waste his days with the celtics. It seems like they want to see if waters can be a backup PG this year.

If you have a true big lined up to also add this season along with Bertans, parting with Theis is an easy decision. He's good but not that good, and can't help us all that much against Embiid and Giannis in the playoffs.

I personally couldn't care less esp. after he hurt Hayward but CrowderKeg would want to throw fists for the bolded.

Plus his #99 jersey is already taken by one of the Celtic greats.
