I must admit LaMelo looks good in the new Knick jersey.

Mikal developed this weird hitch out of nowhere from college to the pros. Very odd.

Not enough strength maybe

Outside of top 3 I expect the Knicks to take cole Anthony. that’s who I expect the Knicks to be most interested in. Father is Greg Anthony and he’s a New York kid and the Knicks need a scoring guard. It’s pretty much destiny lol.

It would be another wasted pick like Kevin Knox and Frank

 y’all disrespectful when it comes to cole. I might be the only one still cheering for this pick if he were the choice.

I'm with you... gun to my head I'm taking him number 1 (I'd trade the pick in all honesty but that's a whole other convo).

I don't like Edwards passiveness. Has very "Wigginsy" vibes for me. I'd rather take the shot on Cole just being in a real chit situation for himself and being a hard worker. I trust him reaching whatever ceiling he has more than I trust Edwards to change his on court demeanor and aggression :dontknow:

Same hunch I had with RJ last year.

Tank for 2 more seasons. End up with a lineup of:

Anthony Edwards
RJ Barrett
Emoni Bates
Evan Mobley
Mitchell Robinson

Juggernaut in the EAST

Lol I’ll root for him if he a Knick but I would avoid him if I were the Knicks. He’s not that good imo. Much better options in the draft

They won't suck. It's the guys from 3-10 who will suck which lead to losses.

I’d take hayes, edwards, haliburton, mannion, and maybe cole before lamelo. just don’t trust that shot or our ability to develop him. and I want no parts of lavar in the new york media cycle. that passing is special though.

I wonder what the time table for LaMelo, Cole, and RJ Hampton to come back? I feel like all three were supposed to be out for a month and it definitely feels like it's been a month since they've been out.

My gut feeling is out of all the PG in the draft that both Haliburton and Cole are probably the best fits with RJ Barrett. I think both of them have some off ball skills that the others don't really have.

My preferred line up

VanVleet / Edwards / RJ

The most exciting lineup I want ...

Lamelo / Lavine / RJ

Seen Lavine might want out .. send them Dallas picks / Trier / Knox

Also I’d take Halliburton over Lamelo.

Edwards
Halliburton
Lamelo

It depends, i would tend to agree with you if perry and mills are still in charge and running things.

But if their not and a masai or presti or someone of that ilk is running things then i totally disagree.

We shall see.

1st half..

Edwards has been invisible and throwing bricks

Maxey has been decent, some nice drives to the basket and good defense also throwing bricks on his jumpers

firstly, 3 small forwards and 2 centers? also, 2 more years of tanking, hell no. Emoni Bates might be the next generational superstar but there is no way in hell we're going to be in position to draft him unless we make some weird ass lakers voo doo trade where we end up competing and somehow get the first pick in the draft.

the edwards hype feels a lot more like anchoring to preseason expectations than it does to actual scouting - i don't trust it at all

Edwards was ok. UK won. Maxey 17 pt 8 ast 7 reb. Not sold on Edwards he made a couple nice shots tho

Would unquestionably take lamelo over Edwards.
