How many NBA owners would be in the bottom 10 of all American professional sports?

The national media is so **** desperate for Philly to be a contender after they all crowned that team in preseason.

Sick of the Sixer knob polishing.

The whole "build for the playoffs" thing reminds me of last years Celtics, when despite the overwhelming evidence during the rs that they are not that good everyone was going with it because reasons.

Sort of agree, but with a caveat. It was obvious with the Celtics, but sometimes there are legitimate reasons to think a team will be better in the playoffs than in the regular season.

Case in point, last year's Raptors. After that lesson, I will not dismiss any decent team just because the Bucks outclassed them in the regular season. Sometimes there are good reasons a team outperforms its regular season record in the playoffs. The Raptors lacked depth and had a lot of veterans who were pacing themselves in the regular season, which caused some of us to underestimate them in the playoffs. But shortening their rotation and saving themselves for the playoffs clearly paid off.

The Sixers don't get the benefit of the doubt re: veterans just trying to get through the regular season, but they will get a boost from being able to shorten their rotation in the playoffs. I think they also have some ENERGY AND EFFORT issues that could be mitigated by the extra rest in the playoffs. Their issues are real, but I wouldn't compare them to last year's Celtics at this point.
Wut we've got here is... faaailure... to communakate.

James Dolan is rock bottom, IMO.
Off the top of my head, I'd say Daniel Snyder is the closest to challenging for that crown. Dean Spanos might be the biggest sucker for his ill-fated move to LA. Jimmy Haslem is awful, too. I don't know if there's an MLB owner I'd put in that shortlist now that Loria is out of baseball.

Dolan gets to double dip because he owns the Rangers too.

Melnyk for Ottawa is up there: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugene_Melnyk

Celtics do not worry me at all with their current roster.

If they showed the Celtics bench and said their head coach was Pete Buttigieg I don't think I'd question it.

If Brooklyn gets the 8 seed, any chance they will have a healthy KD and Kyrie for the playoffs?
Why should you go to jail for a crime someone else noticed? You don't need double talk... You need Bob Loblaw.

Harden 1-11.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Doubt they’d risk KD after what happened last year. Kyrie, who knows? I think we’d still crush them with or without Kyrie.

No mention of the sweet kd vs perk Twitter fight? Honestly I kind of respect KD for just being openly online and petty after the burner thing.

I’m so sick of Perk and Pierce talking ****.

Perk was a slightly better Joel Przybilla. Pierce is Danny Granger with a ring.

"Twitter feuds". Give me a freakin' break. KD is a fragile 13 year old girl.

I have a 13 year old girl, and if she understood what you compared her to she'd be insulted LOL

While I generally agree on the stupidity of twitter feuds as the last few posts said.

In a way, I do respect the target (KD in this case) sticking up for themselves against guys who were a fraction of thm as players collecting a paycheck by taking potshots/hottakes at them for clicks and views. Think of that jabroni who made a name for himself all last year ripping on Giannis. Or multiple ex Packers teammates parlaying saying negative stuff about Rodgers into talking head spots. It's not unimportant to remember these are real people, not just machines for our entertainment.
