In this large planet on which many humans play basketball, someone must exist who will do better. We don't agree often, but that last quarter, I did more to help the Blazers win than did Tolliver. When will the GM find someone over 6'9" who can actually contribute?Roy The Natural wrote:Tolliver is basically a parking cone on defense. And his rebounding as just as atrocious. He's just horrible to watch.

Tolliver had a nice long career. Time to give a gold watch and best wishes. Find Andrew Bogut in the Aussie backland or wherever. Kareem could not be worse. There has to be some huge Eastern European somewhere. Yea, Moses could hurt much worse, if at all.Roy The Natural wrote:Epicurus wrote:In this large planet on which many humans play basketball, someone must exist who will do better. I'd honestly rather just throw Moses Brown out there, rookie mistakes and all. Just tell him to rebound the ball and put his arms straight up when guys drive the lane. It can't be any worse than what we're seeing from Tolliver.

Moving beyond your premature metaphor, rebounding is the Blazers biggest problem. Vonleh is considerably a better rebounder than Tolliver. He is also better able to cover more of the court.Roy The Natural wrote:Epicurus wrote:I believe that Vonleh signed later and for less than Tolliver. What went through NO's brain?
To be fair. That wouldn't change the outlook of this season. It was a dumb signing for sure. But Vonleh wouldn't help this sinking ship.
