Even showed off for Trae who was sitting courtside. at one point Edwards dunked and Trae was filming it on his phone, Edwards walked over and mugged for his phone. I bet he posted it on twitter, but I'm too old to look into that. Maybe one of you younger cats can find it and post it here?
He played well, also hurt his team a bit chucking in the end when they needed to start driving.
There was one stepback 3 that was Harden esque in a defenders face. Then he got a bit too trigger happy. Potential is undeniable though, Hes confident in his shot and is gonna be a high usage player.
No doubt he's talented, but he hasn't played like a top 2 pick in the draft. He's been an inefficient scorer and really hasn't made up for that by excelling somewhere else. But there's plenty of time for him to improve this season.
Completely agree. He had a terrific 5 minute stretch against Kentucky but then reverted to chucking for the rest of the game and killed all the momentum he’d gained for Georgia. He’s far too inconsistent at this point to be a top 2 pick in most years but it’s hard to put too many other players ahead of him at this point because of his potential.
Maxey outplayed him yesterday which might raise his stock back up a bit again. He was simply more aggressive than Edwards and far smarter when he had the ball.
