Jaden McDaniels could be the best prospect in the 2020 draft class after his body matures.

Some draft info:
With so much uncertainty about the top of the 2020 class, a chaotic draft night is possible, according to Givony, who thinks teams might have big boards that look very different.
Despite Givony’s assertions, there seems to be at least a rough consensus among experts on the top of the draft order for now. In their latest mock drafts, Givony and Sam Vecenie of The Athletic each have Edwards, Wiseman, and Ball going 1-2-3, in that order. The two mock drafts do diverge significantly from there, however.

I hear you. You also compared Shai Gilgeous Alexander to Delon Wright before the draft.

Jaden McDaniel's is a good example of someone who looks a lot better in the highlight mixes. He's super toolsy, but a poor decision maker and very turnover prone.
?s=20
?s=20
Averages 3.4 TO's a game, and his creation stuff isn't that effective.
Certainly has potential on both ends of the court, but he's probably going to be at his best if you cut out all the attempted creation stuff and make him more of a 2-way role player.

I don't agree with the Crawford comparison personally, I get the parallel's in needing the ball in their hands and being a dynamic creator but the liabilties outside of that, but I think the differences are also pretty staggering.
With that said, I don't think you can knock anyone for comparing SGA to Delon Wright - I think that was a pretty sensible comparison. Not sure many people saw him becoming this volume of an offensive player, as much as he was liked pre-draft. Comparisons are always going to be flawed. Wright fits into a pretty middling projection for SGA, but SGA is hitting his own high level projections. And I know with all the hyperbolic comparisons I see every year analyzing draft prospects, comparing to middling projections is a lot more sensible.

I didn't think it made sense, I argued back then that SGA had a much longer body, with a different kind of game, more in control. SGA had better quickness, better handle, better I.Q. and showed big improvement from high school to college showing the work ethic.

Not a Jaden fan. Nothing special.
My guys are Edwards Mannion and Haliburton. I’d trade our pick and Lauri for a nba player though. Don’t want any more picks.

I know nothing about Haliburton besides what I just watched in that mix, but judging from that, he looks like he complements both White and LaVine really well. His size at the one is a huge asset.

Do have any players in mind that you think the Bulls should go after?

I'd try to nab a 2nd guy in the late 1st, early 2nd. Go get min a guy like Winston from MSU or Teske from UofM.

Haliburton for me. Defense, shooting, efficiency, length and an underrated athlete. Edwards has never wowed me. He settles a lot and his athleticism wasn’t the wade/Mitchell level that was predicted.

Impressed by his length and he is the definition of a two way player.
But hes not Trae Young special and Bulls should try to settle with their own pick.
Not worth trading up but he seems like top 10 talent.
Edwards/ Ball are the types you give multiple picks since they have elite traits others simply dont have. Sure they bust but their potential is like top 10 in the NBA.
Lamelo will be a future superstar Bull. Book it. Lavar for president!

What's up with Halliburton's jumper though? He has one of the weirdest releases I've ever seen.

I would have traded for CP3 with Felicio and Thad Young by now. OKC is 24M into the tax. CP3 makes Lauri and WCJ look like all stars. We need a former all star that’s a leader that believes in Lavine and helps him get over the hump. CP3 would groom Coby too. Look what’s he’s done for SGA.
Jonathon Isaac would be my target but don’t think that’d happen unless Lauri goes on a tear. Lauri fits the Magic well as they need shooting. Isaac would be incredible next to WCJ defensively.
I personally think we need to build around Lavine and WCJ like the Jazz have with smart vets that can score. They have Bog, Clarkson, and Engles that can all shoot and score. Lavine has A rookie that chucks.
We all know OPJ would have made this work much better. He makes us better than the some of our parts because he can shoot, score, he’s smart and plays D.
I do think a Lauri for Cam Johnson Bridges and Saric helps the Suns a lot and gives the Bulls more cap and cheap assets. Lauri Ayton is solid moving fwd and Rubio would help Lauri a lot.
Bridges and Saric don’t get much burn or shots in PHX. They’d fit really well here. Saric is tough is 26 and can create his own shot better than Lauri. Bridges is smart, can shoot, plays both ways and is basically a younger Lower ceiling OPJ without the injuries. Johnson can really shoot it and he’s smart. He basically does what Lauri does now but I think he could be a really good 3rd big off the bench that can fill it up in the future. Channing Frye type.
This still doesn’t get the vet leader that can score but it does give us a young vet that can score and create and two youngsters that can shoot.
I personally believe Lauri will always underwhelm unless he’s gets a pure PG next to him. No way Bulls pay him either. He’s the epitome of what they hate... soft. Not tough and gritty. That’s Saric.

It’s wack. It’s better than Lonzo coming out though. Lonzo has def improved his shot this season too.
I don’t think Haliburton is a PG. He’s more of a combo like SGA. He’d be a good fit next to Lavine. He’d be our best passer by far.

Weird form, sort of reminds me of Denzel's as well, but his percentages are great.

They're also great on high volume. He's maintained his great efficiency (for a guard) with increasing usage.
It's odd because his shooting varies quite a bit. Sometimes he'll actually shoot a set shot, other times he'll rise up pretty impressively.
I think he's the best fit for our team in the draft.

I’m starting to believe in Haliburtons 3 ball. Namely because the form is consistent and he’s very decisive when shooting it. He also seems to have Trae Young range. I think he ends up going too 5. I think he will be very similar to SGA.
