When the Grizzlies first played Minny, Culver looked like trash. Last time, he looked like their best player. He is going to be such a good compliment to KAT.

Holy hell! I'm more impressed at the change of direction he made at the 3pt line going full tilt! Damn!

Zion notes today:

Alvin Gentry confirmed for the first time that Zion will NOT be a starter when he comes back initially, and will be on a heavy minutes restriction. They are being extremely, extremely deliberate and cautious.

At the same time, David Griffin flat out said that Zion's injury and surgery were not very serious, and insinuated that he has been healthy for quite awhile, but they are taking the time to work on all of the other stuff to make sure he is in the right spot when he does return.

Almost everyone locally thinks he will play either on the 16th or 18th.

if Culver ever becomes a consistent shooter and gets that motor/intensity up it's a done deal, his all-around game is off the charts

The 2nd paragraph does kind of contradict everything Griffin has been saying up until this point though. He has repeatedly said they are treating this injury exactly the same as they would with any other player (I think its clear that isn't the case and I don't blame them for going this route).

But whatever, as long as he sees the court soon Im happy.

that is probably most likely the case, the injury was never this serious, they were just milking it.

Zion just needs to lose weight. Go vegan, adopt a liquid based diet, or something

He looks huge. Crazy how explosive he is. Could you imagine how explosive he’d be 30lbs lighter?

He’s actually lost weight by all accounts. He’s less than he was preseason.

Hayes: 18/10/1 with 1 steal and 2 blocks (one nasty one on Knox) on 7/8 shooting.

Pels only 3 games back out of 8th...

RJ Barrett has been a disappointment. Can't shoot, can't pass.

People should've seen that coming. He couldn't shoot at all in college and wasn't anything special passing in college.
