LeBron is playing 35 minutes a game. His numbers per36 are essentially his numbers. Khris has been playing 28.

I know Khris is a polarizing player and i have been one to complain about him many times, but I find myself torn because he's such a great guy. So I just wanted to say something positive about him. I really hope he can exceed all expectations and prove me and other naysayers wrong :D

There are only 2 ways to do this...

Win the NBA Championship

Or

Being the main piece in a trade where we get an upgrade who helps us and we win a Championship.

Despite his lackadaisical efforts from time to time, he's been amazing this year. Don't think you could expect much more from him. I like the idea of sitting him 15-20 games into the season for a few weeks going forward.

Khris is the perfect no 2 for Giannis to become (one of) the goat if they win a few rings.
Khris is not good enough as a no 2 if they fail to win a title.

I really want to see if Giannis can succeed with Khris as the 2nd best player. I don’t believe Giannis leaves if they don’t succeed this year or next.

It's always great when people use the past to determine future performance as an absolute.

It's why Lowry was terrible against us in the ECF, Kawhi played as he had all regular season and FVV was just a guy.

I really want to see Khris perform this post season, and am excited to see it happen.

I think it will really help if he doesn't draw the toughest defensive assignment. Hopefully Wes/Donte/Trade Guy can handle that load.

FWIW, I think Wes and Donte will do wonders for Khris in the postseason. We're no longer in a situation where Khris is forced to take a really tough wing assignment and expend his energy on the defensive end to the degree that it hurts his necessary offensive contributions. Both Wes and Donte are absolute bulls on the defensive end of the floor and they aren't asked to expend all of the energy necessary to create looks for themselves. Absolutely mammoth gap between Brogdon/Connaughton and Wes/Donte when it comes to that area of the game.

Three wings in the top 30 in DRPM this season. Last year, 0.

He's the exact same player with better numbers (for now)

You don't want to pair a potential top 15 player of all time with a single borderline All Star "just to see if he can do it". Ask Dirk.

Lolz at the people waiting to have Khris prove himself to the haters and then in the same sentence referencing FVV and Lowry. Okay. I guess we're just gonna pray for a hot streak

"He's the same, but better"

"Multiple all star Lowry is streaky"

What are you even saying anymore. .

He's a joke at this point.

Let me beat this drum when Khris "will definitely age poorly" Middleton is having the best season of his career while we're 34-6.

DavidDunn21 why are you this way?

18th in RPM

While you're at it, go ahead and run a search query on guys putting up 30 9 and 5 per 100 possessions on a 56TS% or higher this season.

But hey,

If Khris can somehow remain 16th in RPM while not disappearing in big moments we're going all the way.

I may not like his contract, but he is an all star this year. Really nice season so far. Really happy with his efficiency and timely baskets.

The second part of that sentence applies to our whole team to be fair.
