I also can’t believe Lebron was on the bench. He’s got the “flu”! His PR shoulda done better to cover up the load manage.

He learned after last year because he kept walking out late to games, and then he would have the Kobe/MJ crowd who says they play with the flu.

I meant that he clearly doesn't have the flu (He was resting), but kind of had to act as if he did and bottle the hype of watching his team dominate as the underdogs.

He does have the flu though... He has for several days now.

Rondo/Kuz/KCP:

can't protect a 20 point lead for more than 90 seconds when they come off the bench

up 20 when they get to start.

Yea it's really a game of opportunities. Look no further than the games in which Kuz's minutes and touches are up. I'm not saying we should take touches away from AD. Kuz happens to be in a less than ideal situation in which he's playing behind a dominant big and playing nearly all his minutes with 2 ball dominant superstars. Like i've said a few times now, it shouldn't be surprising to see inconsistencies from a volume scorer when you significantly reduce his minutes and touches. It's not as if he suddenly forgot out how to score. I'm still ok with trading him for the right pieces.

We need to figure a way to get him touches like this when AD and LeBron play.

I think he looks his best when the action is fast. Rondo pushes the pace in transition and in the half court he is in constant motion. Lebron is very deliberate as an initiator and typically leaves you open set shots. Rondo seems to get Kuzma shots when he's in motion which he excels at.

No stats to back it up but Kuzma seems to struggle for touches when he's in the game with Davis and LeBron is on the bench.

Vogel needs to get the pace up with the second unit and I think we can see more of this from Kuzma.

There's definitely a stat for this, which i'm almost certain will confirm this. I'm too lazy to look it up at the moment.

They play the same position. Davis is also somewhat ball-dominant when Lebron is on the bench. I've noticed the entire team--almost to a detriment at times--tries to feature AD at all cost when Lebron is on the bench.
