Re: Welcome Trey Burke
I think it should be apparent this team is better off with Burke getting all the backup mins. Honestly a case could be made for starting Trey and moving Simmons to the four and having Horford backup Embiid. Simmons inability and unwillingness to shoot at the point will never allow the 6ers to be great.

Re: Welcome Trey Burke
14.8 minutes seems ridiculous
He should be playing 25+, at this point.

Re: Welcome Trey Burke
We guaranteed his deal through the rest of the year. Not surprising.

Good for Trey Burke. And good for Brett Brown for admitting a mistake and fixing it.

Re: Welcome Trey Burke
He's been really solid this year on both ends, and gives us much needed playmaking and penetration from the PG position. Need to play him more for sure. He should be the primary backup PG at this point.
Neto is solid, but should be packaged with Horford in a trade for a starting PG type like Conley or Jrue to give the opposing team a PG back.

Burke absolutely needs to be the main backup point guard and a reliable scorer off the bench for us the rest of the way. I don't know why it took Brown as long as it did for him to realize this. I also don't know why Burke hasn't found a home in the NBA. He's very talented and can really put the ball in the hoop when he's given the green light to do so. I'm glad we have him, I think he turns out to be our best offseason acquisition.

Brett knows, he’s just a stubborn mule set in his ways.

What’s with DRPM this season? They had Tobias, Tatum and Burke rated highly.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

Still a head-scratcher as to why Burke barely even stepped on the court for nearly a month into the season..especially considering all of the pre-season praise he was receiving from teammates and even Brett Brown. Nice to see him carving out a role off the bench. Sixers desperately need him to contribute.

He admitted to having attitude and work ethic issues as a young player.

When? His highest point total game for the season is 13 pts. Not exactly lighting it up.

Yeah I figure that's what BB uses to determine his lineups throughout the week.

It's been so effective Brand is now applying the same strategy in his role as GM.

Trey Burke back down to 11.4 mpg in the last two games. It appears someone needs to call out Brett on social media again.

Brett played Burke 45sec at the end of the 1st quarter then brought back Simmons to start the 2nd. What coach does that?

Re: Welcome Trey Burke
Yeah I don't understand what's going on with Burke and his minutes. Once again, Brett is straying away from using him. Let him have his chance to play the backup role at point guard.
