DG bringing out the full arsenal... Not sure wtf he was sandbagging it for. I am not sold he'll ever be a defender but lately I'm seeing more than enough to feel good about him being the pick.

Dude. He's 19. He played 4 games in college. He wasn't sandbagging, he was overwhelmed.

I like Sexton's effort on the defensive end and rebounding tonight. If he figures out that's how he stays in the starting line up, then that's how he'll stay in the starting line up.

Conditioning was an issue for Darius coming off not playing for a year too. That's been steadily improving, but check again if he's able to spend all summer in a strength & conditioning program.

He's doing a lot of good things on D that should become effective if he wasn't so easy to push around. Offensively I like how when his 3 wasn't falling he got some shots up in the paint.

Slowed things down so much at one point he should have been called for an 8 sec violation, but showed some poise.

Collin had a nice game too.

Taking steps forward after the slug debacle ... go figure.

I really don't understand why Zizic's option wasn't picked up. He basically held his own against Plumlee and he's paid less than 1/10th of his salary. His flaws are pretty apparent but I don't think you're going to replicate his production/role for less money.

They seem to be investing a lot of brain power in to managing roster spots. They may see a potential influx of players being added to the roster - perhaps to remake it for JB.

Overwhelmed is something else, maybe he just having to pick his spots better. Obviously he wasn't really sandbagging it and a couple nice games is nothing more than a good start but I've seen enough to be ok with him as the pick despite having more interest in longer term projects like Sekou with superstar upside this early in a rebuild.
