Probably going to watch tonight after the game. Pretty pumped. Was it 1 or 2 episodes that was released last night?

Haven't seen it, so nobody ruin the plot.

Yep, thanks guys for that kind consideration. Not being from New England or the US, I thought Hernandez was a baseball player and was still in jail for something less heinous like assault or some robbery heist.

Eminem’s new album just dropped & it’s f***** amazing ! Whether you love rap or not you’ve got to respect this mans craft. His lyricism & flow is nearly unmatched.
If he isn’t already the GOAT he’s pretty damn close.
The whole album is gold but if I was to pick a couple of songs I really liked they were ‘Premonition-Intro’, ‘You Gon’ Learn’, ‘Godzilla’, ‘Darkness’, ‘Leaving Heaven’, ‘Stepdad’, ‘Lock It Up’, ‘No Regrets’.

Enjoy !

I think it’s too early for me to decide which one I like better. Kamikaze was legendary & had some great hits. The disses were quite funny as well.

Randomly stumbled on Out of the Furnace - interesting story with excellent acting and a phenomenal cast - Christin Bale, Forest Whitaker, Casey Affleck, Woody Harrelson, Willem Defoe and Zoe Saldana.

It’s incredible. Much like True Detective S1, in the way that I watch every episode twice. Just to see if I can pick up on anything

So weird, I just came in here to say I just rewatched "True Detective" Season 1 and say how awesome it is and too bad Woody and Matthew didn't continue, but perhaps that is why it's so great. Gonna have to check out "The Outsider."

True detective season 1 is legendary. Everything about it is perfect except for the ending IMO but the acting is a1 stuff. Season 2 is terrible and shouldn’t be watched but season 3 was good as well, not season 1 good but still good. Pizzolotto had time to write season 3 and wasn’t rushed like after season 1

Season 1 might be my favorite season of television of all time. Even the ending. The single shot scene in episode 6 or whatever just floored me.

Off topic but have we talked about Just Mercy with the group who participates in here? Because holy hell...incredible.

i plan on checking out just mercy this weekend heard it is great. my only gripe with the ending of season 1, was it was your typical bad guy villain ending. the whole season was so next level and had me watching each episode like 2x times seeing if i missed anything and had people on websites getting into like H.P. lovecraft theories and stuff.

Spoiler:
making the deranged lawnmower man who has an incestuous background seemed like something beneath them with all the deep diving into cults and the church organizations etc

I haven't seen it yet, but I've been using Bryan Stevenson in my class when talking about the 8th Amendment. In fact, we do an activity where the students assume the role of Supreme Court justices and they examine 4 case studies to determine the death penalty. The final one we do is the McMillian case. Here is a TedTalk with Stevenson from awhile back worth listening to.

Yeah well casted, solid movie but just depressing in every imaginable way.
