Re: College Football Discussion
Ejecting someone from the game for that is completely insane. NCAA needs to fix that rule.

I personally didn’t think the hit was even worthy of a flag, let alone an ejection. Egregious decision by the refs to say the least.

I wondered how bad it was, then got to: "wrestling underclassmen to the ground while another participant placed his genitals on the face of underclassmen; and instances of the participants placing their genitals on the buttocks of the alleged victims and stroking their genitalia." and, yeah, that's freaking bad.

Re: College Football Discussion
Why are WRs so dramatic? OBJ could've watched the game from the sideline like any proud alumn, but no he decided ..... Let's oddly place these players and coachs in hot water by making it a spectacle of me handing them money and then I'm gonna assault* a police officer.
*Personally I think it was weak and they should've just let him apologize and move on but what kind of idiot interjects himself in that situation with a power-stricken cop and decides to slap him on the ass.

Yup. I thought the big 10 should have kicked them out after the Sandusky cover up and I believe that even more now. Burn that bitch to the ground.StickeeFingaz wrote:Just shut it down, the Penn State Football program is irredeemable.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

I'm confused why it's "a power-stricken cop"?
"After Beckham appeared to slap the officer, the officer turned around and exchanged words with Beckham, but he was not arrested at the time."

"After Beckham appeared to slap the officer, the officer turned around and exchanged words with Beckham, but he was not arrested at the time."
Unverified guess? I heard other reports that a cop came in saying people would be arrested if they were smoking in there before another cop intervened and okayed it. I'm assuming the officer slapped was the one who initially confronted players as he looked pretty stern in the video. Someone smoking in a locker room should not escalate to threats of arrest that quickly.
I was trying to give Beckham the benefit of the doubt the officer had some fault in the situation.

Good for him. I thought he'd get the nod sooner than this.

Re: College Football Discussion
I’m not sure LSU is the perfect role, but given that Aranda was paid like a head coach there, you have to fear an offer to Leonhard.
It’ll be interesting to see with Aranda. He’s somewhat in the Chryst mold that he is deemed a mastermind of his side of the ball but not a ton of outgoing personality that you generally see in college coaches. Obviously it can work so I hope he does well.

Why do you think he will be average? He is a great college defensive coach.MickeyDavis wrote:Kerb Hohl wrote:Aranda to Baylor as HC.

I'm not sure what he has for the other side of the ball but Baylor is mostly known for offense. So he must have been preparing for this in some way.
