Sekou just still needs some seasoning which was expected. He tries to defend every possession like its game 7 final mins and gets himself in foul trouble.

That type of motor will pay off big though once he starts to get the fundamental stuff.

gotta love the kid trying to defend his way into the rotation.

Wow, still good numbers for a surprising rookie thrown into a big role.

I've been thinking a bit about a comp for Culver. I don't want to put these types of expectations on him and I'm not saying he's now or will be as good, but there are times where Jarrett Culver gives me a Scottie Pippen vibe.

Pippen was never a great shooter (just twice over .350 3P%), he had good facilitating instincts but probably should never be the primary PG, was a smooth athlete, and very good to great on defense. All ways that Culver could be described someday, and has already shown flashes.

Bigger, more defense potential Channing Fry. The dude has a crazy quick (and clean looking release).

One of the quickest 7 footers 3pt release I've ever seen.

I had him #31 on my big board.

Kendrick Nunn doesn't even make a rookie team now? Why does Kendrick putting up better numbers (raw and advanced) than both on a contending team over their lottery teams not warrant a spot? Though I like Herro better than Nunn for my Heat long term, I probably put Nunn in first team before him at this stage, though I expect it could flip by end of season.
