Add Bojan to this list as well. Not a well known aspect of his game when he arrived, but it's been fun to watch him become a driver. Now, he needs to become a finisher and then watch out! I think he is the X-factor with this team's success.

Bojan has a big body and uses it well at the rim, my only issue is his loose handles trying to get past the defense. He seems to lose the ball 20% of the time.

Yeah, he's not really a triple-threat player, due to his loose handle and limited passing.

The 20% and loose handles references fit into the "needs to become a finisher" portion. Didn't say he was great at it, but that aspect of his game is improving and hopefully will be another weapon at seasons end. Look at his improvement in the Washington game. Little by little...

Not the sexiest of ideas, but do the Spurs want out of Carroll's contract? They signed him last summer but he's out of their rotation. It seems a swap with Davis would work salary wise...

Not a terrible idea, it's odd that he's getting barely any run with the spurs. Though also he would likely still be behind Niang in the rotation. And 3 years is a bit of time considering it seems the jazz are happy with how Brantley is coming along. Though if you get Poeltl involved then I'd take on DMC

Tony Jones tweet this morning says a Jazz trade target is Aron Baynes.

He would be a nice target but I sure as hell wouldn't give up a 1st for him and I can't imagine the suns would have much interest in Davis for him.

Baynes for Davis works financially. Phoenix would be a better fit for Davis and they would have him locked up for another year. Not sure if that would matter to them, but it would be worth the trade for us.

Yah I'm not sure how we get that done. He's expiring, so maybe his value is a bit lower than it would otherwise be...but I just don't see a workable trade.

Baynes is 33 and expiring as mentioned. A couple of 2nds with Bradley and Davis or something could be an okay return for phoenix though it's possible the rockets part with their 1st for him.

One guy I'm starting to really think about is Kyle Anderson. He's playing pretty bad for Memphis right now but has thrived in a spurs system. Davis and NWG and a 2nd could be just enough to get it done.

I'd love Anderson on our team. Not sure he'd play over Niang, though, to be honest. I've been pleasantly surprised with what he can do.

Anderson is who I wanted the Jazz to trade Exum for...

I think Baynes is overrated at the moment. He's still riding the wave from his ridiculously hot shooting start, but his shooting has fallen off drastically. Still a good player, but I'm not paying a ton for him.

Davis has such low value, the best bet is to hope he turns it around.

Haven't looked at the numbers yet but what if the Jazz target the following for back up center:

Dedmon
Hernangomez

Or FA signings who made an impact last year

Faried
Noah
A.Williams

Low risk moves. Any marginal increase than TB's production is already a big leap.

I could see Ed Davis for Markieff Morris.
I could see a 2RP or NWG for Glenn Robinson III.

I can't see Markieff Morris ever being on the jazz, nor would I want him

Brantley is getting 30 mins per night with the Stars right now. He's developing his game. Right now, he's shooting 32% from 3pt. He needs to get that up to 36% or 37% if he can. He's also got to cut down on his turnovers, but some of that is situational. I think he'd be getting more minutes with the varsity if Niang wasn't shooting over 50% from 3pt.

I don’t think he’s going to get more than a 1st.
Ingles is cooked.
