Interesting move for the Hawks to play John Collins at the 5. Puts their five best players on the floor.

Trae Young is such an assassin. Mikal Bridges tried talking trash to him earlier in the game and now Trae is straight up cooking his ass

He has that SUPERSTAR level potential. Already playing like an All-Star in his rookie year. Should have been the consensus No.1 pick. Memphis did amazing in their last 2 drafts. Jaren Jackson, Morant, Clarke.

The Grizzlies are already the 8th seed in the West. That was a lightning quick rebuild since trading away Marc Gasol and Mike Conley. Having at least a half-competent front-office is nice.

Not so much hate, it was his defense and shot that was questioned, much like LaMelo. But damn Ja shutting up every hater. He’s on another level.

I still stay he and RJ will be better than Zion, but damn we missed out by 1 pick again

Yeah... I still remember those I was having arguments with -- those who said he couldn't shoot and couldn't defend

Maybe Knox was the better prospect but OKC has done a much better job developing SGA than the Knicks have with Knox

Listened to The Ringer Basketball Pod yesterday for Verno/KOC.
They were talking about the perception of SGA coming out of college.
Verno said at draft time he spoke to a number of Kentucky coaches who all told him they weren't high on SGA and were much higher on Knox's upside.
KOC even said that some at Kentucky liked Diallo better then SGA.

People were too harsh on him. They were putting players like Culver, Hunter, Garland ahead of him. Ja is gonna be one of the best point guards of this decade

Game is almost unwatchable at this point. There's no distinct personalities in the NBA, in terms of teams. Every team plays the same or tries to play the same. I was big fan of the way the Dan Tony Suns played but it's not the same if everyone is only trying to shoot 3s.

It's funny, in the NFL while teams are leaning towards passing more, you still see a variation. The Ravens, Titans and Niners all like to run the ball more and are successful. I'd like to see different types of success in the NBA.

Yeah. There isn't anything to take away from how the NBA is other than, "more threes, please". Each of the top teams shoots a high volume of 3 point shots. We even had a coach who stated that he doesn't want his players to play in the post (Dallas).

And with the rules discouraging players from playing actual defense or acting human, what is known to many as trash talk is a technical foul. Looking at the ref the wrong way is a technical foul. Reacting to a bad call is a technical foul. Spending 9842567 minutes figuring out if a good hard foul on a player to prevent a dunk or layup is a flagrant 2. The league today is just BS.

And the hardest part is if you're a fan of a trash team (Knicks), all you get to look forward to is seeing minimal improvement from the young guys while other franchises get game-changing players from the luck of the draft or via FA. :(

1-Get rid of the corner 3's
2-Move the 3-point line back a few inches
3-Award 2 free throws on 3-pointer shooting fouls unless it's the last 2 minutes of the game

I think that would help bring back more variety in the game.
