There appears to be some smoke/rumors of Heupel and Baylor.

I have no idea how true they are .....

Seems pretty thin. The recent stuff i've heard is people conjecturing because there's a private jet flying from Orlando to Wayco today, but the person who owns the plane has no ties to Baylor so it's probably just some rich guy on vacation with his family, lol (plane has been here a week).

Wouldn't be surprised if he's someone Baylor has tossed around as a fallback option, but I doubt he's very high on their list given his buyout and that his first season was largely a follow up on Frost's success. I think when we rebound back into the AAC Championship and NY6, THEN it'll get crazy with teams wanting him.

That is pretty generous, all considering.

How so? I don't see anyone behind UCF that should be ahead.

10 win team whose 3 losses were a combined 7 points (all on the road). The Tulsa loss is bad, but Pitt was 8-5 and Cinci was 11-3.

I think 24 is a pretty fair spot.

24 is fair. It’s nice to finally have a reputation that helps with these polls.

I went to the UCF basketball game vs USF

I get up to the box office outside the arena to buy my ticket. The guy asks what's my phone number? Ok so I told him my phone number but I asked him they haven't asked for that before because they always hand you the tickets. After I paid, He said the ticket is on my cell phone. I told him I don't have my phone on me. So he said I'll meet you inside once you get past security so you can enjoy the game. Like dude you should have told me the ticket is through mobile only. I walked up the stairs but i didn't ask what's my seat number? I know I had 1st row in section 106.

Without not knowing my seat number, I sit on the first seat by the aisle. Eventually people came and I had to move 3 times. The first time i had to move, The Miami Marlins mascot was in front of me and when I got up, I bumped my head on the fin on the top of the mascot head. And Knightro came up to me twice.

I was so glad to see Tony Johnson break out at Wichita State. Than he comes home vs Memphis and only plays 4 minutes WTF? Tony was clearly our best player in the 1st half at Wichita State and was still top 5 performer in the 2nd half. He's clearly a top 5 player on this roster.

I'm fine with the current starting 5 but my preferred 5 guys on the court would be Tony, Darin, Ingram, Mahan and Collin. Diggs and Bertz are done they not playing for us again with Ibrahim leaped Diggs on the depth chart and Dre Fuller is back.

Tony, Darin and Dre are the future of this team that's on this year's team that will be main rotation players the rest of this year and/or after this year.

Long time between now and December to hold on to this kid, but this is a big get for 2021 if they can hold on to him.

It was cool being at today's game vs Tulsa with us in our citronaut jerseys and the space theme. We really need to improve on our inbounding possessions on offense. 1 player maybe 2 players need to start running full court in case we see an opportunity to throw the full court pass. All 10 players being in the halfcourt can kinda clog the court. If we can have 1 guy do deep and make their defense play full court, we can throw a full court pass if we can't get the ball inbounds in the half court.

It was a rare sight to see success beyond the arc.

Nice win over Tulsa.

Hopefully our next basketball recruiting class is better than this one. Just no excuse to not be winning more in this league.

Football schedule came out yesterday. Home games in bold.

Friday, Sept. 4 - North Carolina
Saturday, Sept. 12 - FIU

Saturday, Sept. 19 - at Georgia Tech
Thursday, Sept. 24 - at ECU
Saturday, Oct. 3 - Tulsa
Saturday, Oct. 10 - Bye Week
Friday, Oct. 16 - at Memphis
Saturday, Oct. 24 - Tulane
Saturday, Oct. 31 - at Houston
Saturday, Nov. 7 - FAMU
Saturday, Nov. 14 - Temple
Saturday, Nov. 21 - Cincinnati
Friday, Nov. 27 - at South Florida

Only thing to be bummed about as a UCF fan is the short week at ECU after playing at Georgia Tech.

On the plus side we have 8 home games, ending with 4 straight home games. :P

Also bonus for me is the bye week is when my wife and I are always out of country on a birthday trip (last year I was drinking heavily at 2am in Lake Como watching that debacle against Pitt on a stream I found on reddit).

Our best home game that I have the most interest in is North Carolina than Cincinnati. This schedule tells me if we can win at Memphis and at Houston that we'll be undefeated going into the Conference championship game.

Nice win on the road at Cincinnati last night.

Knights won in D-OT, 89-87.

Tony Johnson, FR, had a heckuva game. Looks like he and fellow FR, Darin Green, have quite a good future.

The game of Tony Johnson's life.

He was averaging 10 minutes a game coming into the game and wasn't even going to play much last night either, but then Dawkins straight up benched Ceasar DeJesus after a disaster opening few minutes.

Next man up mentality. Johnson absolutely answered the bell in a big way.

Everyone has been sleeping on Tony before the game at Wichita State. And there's still been people sleeping on him until after last night's game because he dropped off after the game at Wichita State in between that game and until after last night's game at Cincinnati. I been waiting for Tony to get unleashed as Tony and Darin are the closest thing we have as stars/superstar's on the team. Everybody else are just (role players) at best and all those role players just need to support Tony and Darin. Tony and Darin our 2 FRESHMAN are definetly our 2 best players on the team. I cheer for Tony during our home games and I make sure the players on the court hear everything I say cause I sit close to the court as Tony is definetly my favorite player on this team. I wish we realized at the start of the year that Tony and Darin our 2 freshman are our best players. Just because your juniors and seniors doesn't mean you play.

I don't really have interest in seeing Tulane cause they suck. But I feel like going because its a noon game and I want to chant at Tony "Your a superstar" and "MVP". The only motivation for me to go Saturday vs Tulane is to cheer on TONY.
