Milwaukee - Giannis, Middleton
Miami - Butler, Bam
Boston - Kemba, Tatum
Toronto - Lowry, Siakam
Indiana - Sabonis
Philly - Embiid

That's already 10 guys with two spots to go, and you haven't gotten Beal, Simmons, Brown, Young, Brogdon, Dinwiddie, LaVine, etc. Young and Beal are 4th and 5th in the league in scoring. Something's got to give.

I do think Middleton makes a 2nd ASG at some point and superficially it seems like this should be the year between his rate stats and how good the Bucks are, but I do think there's a chance we get a raft of Why Middleton Should Have Been an All-Star content the week after the selections come out. Feels like the most likely scenarios in no particular order are:

1) Simmons doesn't make it
2) Middleton doesn't make it
3) Indiana gets shut out

I don't see a scenario where Miami, Boston, and Toronto don't each get the two guys above.

Tatum is averaging 21.3p/6.9r/2.3a/1.4s on 43/36/86 shooting in 34 minutes a game
Middleton is averaging 19.3p/5.8r/3.8a/.9 s on 49/40/89 shooting in 29 minutes a game

Per 36
Tatum 22.6p/7.3r/2.6a/1.5s on 43/36/86
Middleton 24.4p/7.3r/4.8a/1.2s on 49/40/89

If Tatum is a lock I don't know how Middleton is not one.

Tatum’s got one of the best +/- in the league and rpm loves him but man when you look at the raw stats they just aren’t impressive really. If a second Celtic makes the all star game I’d go Brown. Midds over both.

Mids has to make it. The last two on that list can be Simmons and Beal/Young. I don’t think anyone else is really close.

Yeah it'd be a joke if guys like LaVine, FVV, or Brogdon get in over Middleton. Midds is a lock. You don't "deserve" 2 All-Stars just because you're a low 50-wins team, so all this crap about Toronto and Boston possibly getting 3 All-Stars is ridiculous.

Atl got 4 all stars the year they were a 1 seed and we’d obliterate that team. I feel mids and Bledsoe should be in. But it will probably just be Middleton.

I do think ddv should be in the rising stars game, pat in the dunk contest, hill in the three point contest. Giannis, Bledsoe, Middleton in the all star game

The question isn't whether the Bucks will get two all stars, it's whether they'll get three.

This is exactly what is deserved, not sure it all happens but this is what the players/team have earned imo.

Bledsoe was snubbed last year. No idea how a 36-6 team doesn't net 3 all stars. Coaches should know the Bucks have deserving players beyond Giannis & Khris. Hill is right there, not that he'll get in.

Midds should be a lock this year. He's having the best season of his career by a significant margin, and might be the second best SG in the conference depending on where you slot Butler.

The Hawks had 4 Allstars in 2015. Horford, Korver, Millsap and Teague
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Middleton is a lock for his first deserved All Star appearance. I wouldn't over think this.

Butler is treated as a forward in the vote. Middleton might be treated the same way, as he played SF for most of the year.

Yeah, that's fair. I often forget Khris is listed as a SF because positions are a bit nebulous on this team.

Middleton is a very deserved all star. Khash Money is earning that paycheck this season.

Speaking of this I got a reply back from Basketball Reference that hey can certainly add this to his nickname list. Actually it was Kha$h Money.

As long as they don't remove WD-40 and Baby Joe Johnson! Those are just too random and too funny to eliminate.

I agree with all this except for Pat. He has some incredible put back dunks, but outside of jumping high I don't think he is an exceptional dunker.

Unless he just never brings out flashy stuff in games, and he certainly has opportunities during garbage time, I don't think hed do well in a dunk contest.
Why should you go to jail for a crime someone else noticed? You don't need double talk... You need Bob Loblaw.

It is absolutely disgusting that Trae and Kyrie are going to make the all-star game, but I'm going to assume the roster from the East will be something like
G - Trae, Kyrie, Kemba, Simmons, Lowry
F - Giannis, Siakam, Butler, Middleton, Tatum
C - Embiid, Sabonis

Unfortunately think that Bled's missed time keeps him out because two guards who shouldn't be playing will be put in by the fans.
