They're really ugly looking jerseys

I like them, but they're very Blazers-esque with the diagonal line across the front.

It was good to see we started running plays for 3 point shooters like Shamet. The defense at the end of first and most of 2nd quarter was concerning, but Kawhi took over in the 3rd.

While Kawhi can score with ease, but I still think we are running ISO plays that just end up in bad mid-range shots. Perhaps it's a method of "active resting" , but from TV it looks like we just don't have any plays, so one guy (usually Kawhi) holds the ball for a few seconds then goes for a jump shot.

Doc said a few plays were called for Shamet, but mostly he got open shots via ball movement, just like JJ used to. That's on everybody. You don't run a play every time down the floor nor does every called play end up getting run to conclusion. This is not football. This is not an orchestra, where every note is printed on the page. It's more like a jazz combo, which is mostly improvisation.

We're still 5th in offense and still a "work in progress." The worries are still at the other end of the floor, and that's even more a read/react seat-of-the-pants thing that only familiarity with each other is gonna improve. That's Kawhi's message anyway, and he's sticking to it. :)

Guys were moving without plays yesterday. The team had 29 asts iirc. The ball was zooming. They need to continue that moving fwd

When the other guys step up and move without the ball [like JJ used to do], the ball will find them. When they don't, Kawhi is gonna take care of business. If it takes isos to win, Kawhi is gonna win.

Anybody see the Houston game tonight? Beard went on strike. I'M selfish? Well, let's find out what happens when I'm not.

I don't like liking The Beard, but I like him. Shame nobody can figure out how to be his Pippen. Not CP, not Westbrook.

Kawhi and PG are already a better 1-2.

No one can figure it out because harden refused to adapt how game to anyone else. He wants people to adapt to him

My argument is that Harden is unfairly criticized as a selfish player. Frankly, I think it was CP and Westbrook who failed to adapt to the better player, CP and Westbrook who were the selfish ones.

Forget his 37.8 ppg on a 63% TS%, surpassed only by centers Gobert and KAT. 6 rpg and 7.5 apg? I don't like saying anything nice about Beard but jeez...

____________

Would I rather have Kawhi than Beard? Yes. But that doesn't make Beard a bad person. Give him Scottie Pippen and look out, NBA.
