Zion Williamson gained eight pounds of muscle during a one-week heavy weightlifting routine during the offseason. The amount of weight gain from Williamson shocked staffers.

I'm trying to wrap my head around that. Let's say Zion weighed 300 lbs - it means he gained 3% of his body weight in muscle over one week. What is the caloric consumption required for something like that to happen? That can't possibly be muscle nor naturally occurring in a human body.
Magic supplements?

If I'm the warriors I absolutely give the wolves D'Lo when I get Covington, Layman, their first and filler back.

Russell, WCS , Poole for Covington, Layman, Dieng and Min 2020 first

Curry
Thompson
Covington/Layman
Green / Paschall
Looney/Dieng
+ Top 5 pick
+ Top 12 pick

damn.

No doubt about it. It'll go down I think. Wolves have no point guard, so I think they have something lined up.

Warriors can do better than that, no?

They already have nice role players right now so I dont know why they should give up DLo for more role players. If they do trade him then they need to aim higher otherwise they would be better just keeping him.

Ingram is starting to grow on me. Would the Pels match a poison pill Max contract (similar to Lin's but max money and split up in a way to make it hard to match)? I guess they would unless Ingram made it clear that he wants out...

Spoiler:
But the sting felt different in Sacramento, where the Kings have the league’s longest playoff drought (2006), and so many fans who have been airing their grievances on local sports talk radio ever since saw Doncic as their favorite franchise’s savior. And now, here was Joerger adding a bit of salt to the wound. According to two sources who witnessed the interaction, Joerger told Divac, in a passive-aggressive jest, that he had negotiated an in-season trade with the Mavericks that would finally bring Doncic their way. Cue the record scratch. As if this topic wasn’t touchy enough already.

This is key, of course, because it was Fox’s presence that had everything to do with Divac’s decision to pass on Doncic in the first place. With Fox emerging as a unique and dynamic lead-guard, sources say Divac had concerns about Doncic’s ball-dominance and simply believed that Bagley was a better long-term fit alongside Fox

“They came to Madrid (to see him play for Real Madrid and to share a dinner on June 5, 2018),” the 20-year-old Doncic told The Athletic about the Kings’ contingent’s visit during the draft process. “They came with the owner. Everybody came, so I honestly thought they were going to pick me.” So, I asked, was it ever made clear to him why they didn’t? “I mean, I think it’s because of Euroleague; it’s different basketball,” Doncic said. “I was averaging in Europe — in the Spanish League — like 12 points (per game). And in Euroleague 14 (points per game). So it’s different basketball.”

By the time Doncic’s visit was nearing an end, he offered one final moment that might send Kings fans crying into their pillows again. When a local reporter showed Doncic a picture of a fan who had created his own Doncic Kings jersey, the Mavs star stopped our brief conversation, sat up in his chair to take a closer look, and smiled. And then, for reasons that only he knows, he requested that the picture be text-messaged to the team’s PR man, Scott Tomlin, so he could keep it as a keepsake of sorts. “Can you send that?” he said. “I want to see that.”

Am glad this didn’t happen to us. I’d be devastated if we had the #2 pick in the 2018 draft and passed on Luka.

Yeah no way Pels don’t match any offer for BI but personally I want to make sure that the contract they would have to match is as toxic as possible with all the trade kickers, upfront payments and vetos etc if applicable.

It's not much better though: Didn't we mess up our lottery odds on the very last shot of the previous season? I don't even remember the player that won the game on a buzzer-beater, but we really, really, really needed to lose. It wasn't a meaningless game at all, we had to lose.

I think that was for the 2017 draft. Then the Kings jumped us to #3 but Philly had the right to swap with them. Sixers then traded with Boston to get Fultz.

What happened in 2018 was that we were playing the Cavs in the last day. Cavs has the Nets pick so they tanked that game to make sure the Nets had a worse record than us.

Unfortunately for the Cavs it was the Kings who they shared the same record with that jumped up to #2.

How does that benefit us though? Except for tying up our cap space until they match?

I don’t think there is anyone else worth saving that cap space for this coming free agency anyway unless AD does the unthinkable.

This is it. You cash in and snag Beal. Head to the offseason with a top pick for this year Barrett and Beal.
Draft a pg. snag a stretch 4 in free agency
Or draft wiseman sign van fleet

Van fleet- Beal - Barrett- knox - wiseman

They laugh. Include RJ. If you draft LaMelo, I would do that trade with RJ.

Basketball execs aren't 12 year olds in 2k. They know that's a sh*t offer for a top 15ish player in the NBA.
