Small adjustments might be needed but Green seems like he is more comfortable attacking now. If they can get him around the rim more and just have Trez space out maybe Green can pick up some of the scoring. The bench guards outside of Lou are struggling a bit to get involved and it’s definitely a step down from last year.
Green is not a scorer. He's a 3 and d guy. Few nights he's been post up but that's not a regular diet you want to see. Lol.

But he’s shown the ability to bang down low and get some buckets. Even as a transition player or pick and roll option we should look to find ways to maximize his physical ability. Keeping him strictly in a 3 and D role makes him pretty one dimensional and when his shots don’t fall it’s all on Lou and Harrell
In the playoffs, I can assure you the clippers are not going to post jamychal. He's not good at it.

One game doesn't change that.

One thing I like about Green is that he's pretty physical and can actually be a bit dirty at times... I've seen him giving hard shoves to a few players from behind, things like that... Now you don't want the team's identity to be overly physical, but sometimes you need some of that edge to keep the other team from doing whatever they want. Makes sense, since he was a part of the Grizzlies Grit and Grind culture.

2Pat is a bit like him, a 3 & D / stretch big, but instead of the physicality, he's takes charges. Both are inconsistent on offense, but on defense, are pretty decent. Actually, a lot of our bench guys are inconsistent on offense...

I'd love for Green to be that guy [Harkless ain't it] but J-Myke is so up and down. His last 13 games:

He's a box of chocolates--you never know what you're going to get!!

Even to that point you can see such a large chunk of his shots are 3pt that if he looked to attack a bit more his average would be a bit more consistent

Now I know we had the travel issue off the catch at the three point line. Maybe more off ball cutting catch and attack action and these are only for situations that Lou/Harrell struggle

Yes, you're correct. Only 22.5% of his shots are at the rim, a career low by a huge amount [career avg 41%], so fewer high-percentage shots has helped bring his over FG down to 40%, which sucks for a forward. But his 3-pt% has plummeted too, from around 40 down to 35%. Basically, he's just taken a big step back this year.

We can only hope he comes around, but between him and Harkless, our biggest hole is at the 4. That's where I want to see a roster move. All I want is an average player and I think they're performing below that.

Finally Green did more than just shooting 3s. I like it.

Also Shamet didn't just shoot 3s,he drove to the basket and even tried to dunk. :P

all 5 of Green's shots vs the Pels were from 3 :-?

Shamet was 4-5 on non-3-pointers including several drives to the hole :)

Green had 6-3 2/5 shooting against Pels, and 11-13 3/7 vs Magic but he also had 4/4 FT, so Mr. Green mix your game up. :)
