USA Basketball To Announce Preliminary Roster For 2020 Olympics By End Of Month

USA Basketball will announce a preliminary roster for the 2020 Olympics by the end of January, Jerry Colangelo told Marc Stein of The New York Times.

The roster could approach 40 players, according to Colangelo.

Every top American player is expected to be on the initial roster. 

USA Basketball will then bring the roster down to 12 players in June before starting training camp in early July.
