NFC Championship: Packers at Niners - 5:40 - FOX

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sun Jan 19, 2020 1:56 pm

Ok boys, this is it, win and get to the SB. We're underdogs, we got crushed there last time but let's win this damn game.

I always feel less nervous when we are the underdog, but will still be extremely disappointed if it ends today.

As others have said on other threads, the Pack is playing with house money, so come in aggressive and take home the W. I'm happy as hell they got this far.

I'm not going to be disappointed if we lose.

I will be disappointed if we get blown out.

I'll be devastated if we give this game away.

For some reason this game just feels like a win. A team can only read so many press clippings that it shouldnt even show up before it makes them dial in and this team has digged in every time the doubters have gotten vocal.

Also a team can only read so many press clippings that it already has a win in the bag before they start looking ahead

Stat of the day that I just read: GB is the 4th team to win 13 games and be a 7+ point underdog in the Conference title game........ The previous 3 all won

I think I’ll only be really pissed if we lose a close, shoulda/coulda game. That will hurt.

If we lose in a blowout, thats humiliating, but it just confirms this team isn’t done being built, and should lead to the FO being more serious about upgrades in the offseason. Maybe.

I’d be totally lying to myself if I said I wouldn’t be disappointed to lose. I know we’re the underdogs, the prior matchup wasn’t pretty, we’re on the road... but this is not a juggernaut we’re facing man. We can win this game and honestly I’ll be devastated if we don’t.

I need a **** drink.

I’m setting my expectations low. This 49er team is very good. Not a great matchup for the Packers.

Go Pack!

Please, please, please - just don't take a lead into the 4th and blow it in the final minute or something. Don't get my hopes up then stab me in the heart 75 times.

Rather have a repeat of game 1 than a heartbreaking loss.

Zero expectations, but hoping for Godgers to put the cape back on with The Owl in his sights for possibly the last time.

It would be nice for Rodgers and MVS to actually connect on an open bomb this game.

If the Packers are going to win this game they're probably going to NEED MVS to get open deep at least once

5:40 is taking way too long to get here.
