Khabib had nothing to do with Conor's humbling.

I'd say the past two years of crap he's gotten involved in and him having children is what made him humble.

A loss in MMA didn't humble him, he's lost before.

Hopefully he eases up on the whiskey and whatever else he may have put into his body so we can get the best Conor McGregor.

Also, this is a reminder that the so-called "experts" and "journalist" in MMA really don't know sh*t.

Oh stop it. Conor isn’t doing anything to Khabib. It’s easy to throw those kicks when you don’t have to worry about any takedowns.

If people think this fight was a "test" for Conor, they are sadly mistaken. Conor was not tested at all. I don't know wtf was going on with Cowboy but it certainly looked like he took the dive. How can you not be ready for the initial onslaught everyone and their mother knew was coming?

Whatever ... then bring on Justin Gaethje or Masvidal and then we'll see. Conor should not get Khabib simply over this fraud of a fight.

How convenient all that "change" happened after his embarrassing defeat.

Diaz 1 wasn't really a humbling defeat as it was a surprising submission. Khabib fight was a different story and brought Conor to reality . Everyone saw it in the pressers, pre and post fights.

I know you despise Conor - and rightfully so for his antics. But you can’t deny the quality opponents that he’s beat: Aldo, Diaz, Cowboy, Diamond, Mendes, Alvarez and Holloway

He lost to Diaz before beating him

Holloway and Diamond were early in their careers, but okay.

Aldo? Okay, but c'mon. But I'll give Conor Alvarez.

Mendes took the fight on two weeks notice and I think could've beaten Conor with a full training camp back then.

My point is that this is a different Conor. Just like with Mike Tyson. There the Cus D'Amato era and the Don King era. Conor started to believe his own hype train after, possibly, the Alvarez fight. I don't deny Conor's talent. I do think he's an azzhole who hasn't yet paid for his previous transgressions. That said, I do love great comeback. George Foreman!

I like rooting against Conor because I don't like his dbag personality but I admit he's great for the sport. He's very talented and no doubt one of the best ever. Gotta also give him credit for having a steel jaw. He took a beating from Diaz but never got KOd and even Khabib clipping him never put him away. The dude is a survivor and just knows how to keep himself in a fight.

I need to see a rematch with Khabib because although I like Khabib a lot and think hes a better all around fighter I still dont think Conor looked right in that fight. He looked like he was still on a coke binge

Looked a lot healthier last night

That's true but he wasn't challenged at all. I'll believe it when I see him fight either Masvidal, Gaethje, or Ferguson. If he beats one of those three, then I'll agree that Conor is back.

Conor can't beat Masvidal or Goethe or Ferguson either. I think he's also have a tough time with Woodley, Usman, Wonderboy, and Colby.

The beauty of Conor being back is that the Masvidal/Gaethje/Tony fights are all possibilities now. :D
