Allison NO F'ING WAY
Lewis MAYBE
Grant WHO?
Fackrell BYE KYLER
Goodson MEH
Campbell MEH
Martinez WE'LL REALLY MISS YOU AJ (NOT)

Besides Bulaga and Crosby the rest can all go.

I’d keep Fackrell if price is reasonable he’s much better 3rd OLB than Gary.

I'm expecting a big leap from Sternberger next year. He's got all the ingredients to be a top TE in this league.

Draft an explosive player or two on offense.

Defensive line and linebackers need major help.

Offensive line was decent this year. Turner is the weak link but he's paid too much. Hopefully Bulaga comes back and roll with the same unit again.

Oh and if there's a QB you like that falls, take them. I love Kellen Mond's arm. I'd take a flyer on him in the mid rounds.

Cut Graham - he's just a guy now, not worth the cash. I'd rather they kept Lewis, if he comes cheap enough. Sternberger has shown a glimmer of ability. Tonyan didn't look impressive to me anyway .

An upgrade, or two to the WR's. Allison can be released, he's just another guy too. What in hell happened to MVS? He just vaporised along the way. I'll be curious to see how ESB comes back next season.

An upgrade at ILB. Based on tackle count Martinez is going to want a big raise, and he's not worth that. As others have said he's A J Hawk 2.0. I don't know what to make of Fackeral. The coaches seem to like him

An upgrade on the DL. Captain Obvious says: keeping your opponents from owning the line of scrimage would help your run defense.

An additional RB. If Jones goes down, the offense will bog down fast.

LaFluer's "veteran rest" program seems to have really helped Bulaga. Will he come back for a reasonable price? Otherwise, are Light or Veld Heer up to it? Or, do they need to find the RT version of Jenkins in the coming draft? I dunno.

I'd like a decent QB in the development category. Where do they find that gem?

Crosby can be re-signed too.

Lotta wants on that list, but the core is better than I expected - by far.

Do we still like Pettine?

I think he is gone. LaFleur gave him a year, now he'll go get his own guy.
Why should you go to jail for a crime someone else noticed? You don't need double talk... You need Bob Loblaw.

The GB structure is weird though. Does MLF have that control? I remember reading that he wanted his guy for special teams but the FO wouldn't pay

Having only 1 quality defensive lineman in a 3-4 defense and no stud inside linebackers reared its head in a big way tonight. You simply can't play defense that way. You need to find Clark a running mate on the line and find a linebacker that knows how to fill his gaps in the run game. If you dont fix those 2 things nothing else matters.

If MLF doesn't have control over who he wants on his staff, we have bigger problems. I'd be surprised if Pettine is let go.

Re-sign Bulaga and move him to LG. Veldheer has a bit left in the tank. New England was expecting a lot out of him before he abruptly retired. I think he can be a cheap yet effective starter and I really think Bulaga can be an elite guard while extending his career. Let turner be the number one backup everywhere but C.

Money Mason is money. Easy re-sign.

Everyone else let walk. and obviously cut Graham. As far as free agency goes I have no clue. Clark will be expensive and I don’t know what to think about extending Aaron Jones. Obviously his numbers have been great, but he’s gonna want Zeke type money. As much as I love the guy he’s just not that type of impact player. If they are going to re-sign him this would be the time. Longer you wait the more expensive he gets. Linsley also needs to be re-signed.

The WR/TE position needs a nearly complete overhaul. Cut MVS if he has a meh camp. Kumerow and Allison can pack their bags now. Sternberger could be a rotational pass catcher but I’m not expecting much more.

On defense, we need pretty much everything but edge rushers (not that you can ever have enough). Lowry, Lancaster and Adams aren’t much more than warm bodies. Martinez seems like a nice guy, just not an nfl caliber athlete. In the secondary, Jaire regressed big time and King is a Jekyll/Hyde even when healthy which is rare. Savage and Amos were just okay.

Overall, Gutes has to put his big boy pants on and get to work. Lots to do.

ETA: my obligatory Rodgers take.

It’s maddening watching him play in close games vs when he’s down three scores. How do we hypnotize him to believe the Packers are permanently down three touchdowns and/or in a two minute drill? The skills are there. The aversion to interceptions are f*cking with his head something fierce. He won’t take shots unless we’re down or the opposition jumps offsides which never happens anymore. He needs to be reborn as a QB. The scouting report is just let him run the clock down to zero, jump the snap and collect your sack or incompletion.

Really want to draft a WR usually takes them 2 plus years rogers doesn't have that much time i dont think im all for signing a veteran stud wr and absolutely please get a physical ILB good god if martinez ckaim to fame is how many tackles he makes then show him the door he doesnt move tbe needle cant cover doesnt create turnovers.
Plus cant keep missing on your 1st round picks that gary pick to me was a bad pick when the wilkins pick was so much better

I dont hate the idea of drafting Tua if he falls to 30. I just wanted to say that.

I don’t think he makes it out of the top 5 still.

I’m so annoyed because I don’t think SF is that good. This team has a long way to go yet this still feels like a missed opportunity because none of the final 4 teams are impressive juggernauts. I am such an optimist at heart but I am as down on Rodgers as I’ve ever been.

I don’t think he makes it out of the top 5 still.

Almost every mock I've seen has him going #5 to Miami. The one oddball had Miami taking Love and then the Chargers taking Tua.

Just no Herbert, please. He reminds me of Tebow, except not as successful.

He's getting roasted on ESPN Wisconsin postgame. If the other team is steamrolling you by only attempting 8 passes, why not stack the box?

This is really the story. Aaron Rodgers carried this team for a good seven years post the Superbowl, while the talent level kept dropping year after year. Masked a ton of really poor GM work.

And now Gutey made some good moves the past year to start filling up the tank again......however, just as he's doing that, Rodgers level is declining and will keep doing so.

This season reminded me a lot of 2007 and still does. We got to the NFC championship on a game manager Favre, but ultimately had to move on from him to take the next step. We're going to have to do the same with Aaron in the next 12-months. Going to be ugly.
