It'll be interesting to see what Trent can do in CJ's absence. I've long been a CJ loather. I just don't see the value in a guy whose supposed gift is being able to inefficiently score 20+ on a high volume of shots. I"ve always contended that many players could do that if they jacked up a lot of shots.

CJ Peaked in the 16-17 season with a great 58.5% TS%, but for most of his career he's been lower than the league average: in the 53-54% range. With his below average defense and terrible ability to create shots for others, that means he's only helping the team on hot shooting nights, which is a minority of the time. And we're paying $30 mil for that?

Why is the trade taking so long to finalize? I know some times trades can take a while due to medical exams and such, but that doesn't seem to be the case so why 4 or 5 days to complete this trade? Kinda sucks Portland is so short-handed during this time, although I don't expect a lot of help from the guys they got. Maybe Ariza, if he comes back to life.

I believe it's the inclusion of Gabriel in the trade. I think his trade restriction ends today.

conference finals rematch. Except the only healthy starters from that series are Lillard and Green.

Golden State may be the only team more negatively affected by injuries this season than Portland.

Except, it's not a negative when it happens to the Warriors.

Anyone that thinks Aldridge is better than Melo is full of crap. We need an athletic young forward that busts his ass and defends the basket to be Melo's frontcourt partner. IOW, we need Collins and Melo.

Did you see that pass by Melo? Nobody else on our team could have made that pass.

Nurkic has the best suit. He should give CJ the name of his tailor.

The foul stands. Stotts isn't the only coach that can't get a fair break on a challenge.

Warriors are doubling Melo. We haven't seen teams do that. Melo is making the right plays.
