minus the respectable defense that he was playing for thibs pre-injury

btw, last time he scored 20+ in 10 consecutive games was his MVP season. never did it more than 12 games in a row in his career

I hope both Mark Jackson and Jeff Van Gundy get head coaching jobs so we can all be saved from listening to them.

Infact, just get rid of all these old stuck in the 90s dudes, because their constant whining or nonsense gets tiring.

This is the most efficient he's been as a scorer.

This summarizes Van Gundy and Jackson tonight pretty well. Trash:

Read on Twitter

They bring down the quality of the actual game being played. Maybe I missed it, but I'm surprised they didn't go on a random rant about load management.

Van Gundy can be funny sometimes, but those few times don't make up for the rest.

i'm fine with it, particularly with the quality of nba viewing these days. i can watch the game myself if i need to, but typically just have games on in the background while i'm on the computer

Obviously, Zion is also younger than those guys, except LeBron (and Okafor at the same age).

That one pass Zion made to Ingram for a dunk is already a better pass than I think I've seen anybody on this roster ever make.

Whilst I was never going to judge the kid on 1 game, it was really nice to see him go off like that in the 4th quarter after a sluggish game up till that point

He looked (obviously) out of shape, condition and rhythm through 3 quarters and couldn’t stop turning it over

To see him knock down all those 3’s and attack the basket with such strength and ferocity was special

I hope he can get healthy and stay that way and if he can add a consistent respectable 3 pointer to his game then he’s going to be truly special

I watched the first 3 quarters and was almost doing the Jerry Seinfeld hands up gif as I went into a meeting.

Got out of the meeting and couldn't believe the box score.

Great moment for him and as others have said I hope he stays healthy and has a long and healthy career and requests a trade to Chicago.................

As long as it's not with us, I second this.
Constantly underwhelmed by the Bulls.

Jim Boylen was ranked as the 30th best coach in the league by realgm.

Its only a fan vote, but just goes to show how he is viewed overall. He is not average by any measure. Even his coaching peers (Saunders) can't comprehend what he does.

Mavs In Contact With Joakim Noah Following Dwight Powell Injury

OMG

Luka and Noah????

I kinda wanted Noah to end up in LAC to battle LeBron - but I'll be estatic to watch him with Luka

Noah (and a small group of Bulls ) used to go to Stevenson to watch former coach Brunsons son play
how cool would it be for him to play with Jalen. I bet that idea appeals to him a lot.

Hope they sign him today so we can see him tonight vs POR, it's on TNT

I was just kinda digging Dwight Powell too. Tough luck for the guy.

I'd probably stick w/ Boylen over a few coaches like Brooks or Walton just because of how much he's raised the defense, but close enough they're all bottom tier.

Boylen is a rookie HC and a cheap one at that so I wouldn't expect otherwise. Brad Stevens won 25 games his rookie year.
Vet + winning head coaches like Bud commanded $7M per year. Boylen's market price was $800k. Chicago got what it was willing to pay for.

Side note, with Harrell probably showing enough to at least ask for the max....

Anybody think the Clippers would match his RFA offers or try to move him for the depth? Any reason for the Bulls to inquire? His numbers are on the slight decline since two years ago but he’s in his prime and kind of a freak of nature around the rim, despite being undersized and used as a super sub. Would you sign and trade Thad, Sato and Dunn for a 120/4 offer?

I assume Kawhi/George demand he be matched and what not, but that roster is kind of thin on depth and gonna be really high on salary, especially as Lou will be coming up on an extension next year.

Giving Harrell $30 million is nuts. He's a great super-sub and probably even a solid starter, but he's not a player you prioritize to that degree.

Watching Zion go HAM for those 3 minutes was beautiful. He legit almost carried that team to a win.

And yet all anyone can talk about is his weight. Sad. Nobody cares about the actual game anymore, the NBA is just a reality show.
