Evan got his numbers and gets to continue parading himself around as a go to scorer. Moral victory.

Sure, but you're taking my post a little out of context. When I say he's been better "by far," I don't mean he's been great, I mean he's been inconsistent and mediocre as hell all year, and that still destroys Vuc and Ross. It's not a positive Fournier post, it's a negative Vuc and Ross post.

Down 2/3 of your best players and your starting center and still smoke a trash team. Must be nice.

Nah, Fournier is just playing above himself. Vuc still has better numbers on the season even though he hasn't been as good as last season. Plus Vuc is the better defender and passer.

i get it but i mean fournier is just points....that's all he's giving you, if he's not hitting you're getting nothing else and it's same with ross....at least with vuc if he's not scoring he'll give you boards, he'll give you assists.....minimal defense but it's way more valuable than what you'd get from a ross and fournier when they're not hitting shots

Re: Regular Season Game 46: Boston Celtics (29-14) at Orlando Magic (21-24) - 7pm ET
We have a bunch of 2nd/3rd pieces at best that are inconsistent offensively and defensively. Obviously our younger guys are inconsistent offensively as well but we can carve some sort of identity with them if we eventually add new pieces.
I don't know. I've been having the same arguments with the same posters for 3 years now. At some point you have to stop rearranging chairs and fix the problem. I don't know why it's so hard to admit that we are capped with our "best offensive players" (which includes Vuc, Fournier, AG, Ross) and we will need to move some of them (maybe with Bamba and a pick too) for any sort of future that is worth a ****.
Wanting that future doesn't mean you're blaming the current players for being "bad", it's just I want a product that I can actually believe in.

I guess that's a nice way to put it. The expectations for Vuc is to be hands down the best player and an All-Star caliber player, he's just been mediocre. Fournier is playing closer to an All-Star level than he usually does. But Vuc should still be the best player on this team.
I've been saying for awhile now though that I believe Isaac is now our best player though. Fultz is making progress and you can see the potential, but he's just not there yet.
But Vuc absolutely has to step up right now if we want to at least be a mediocre .500 team.

They’re boring.
A slow, unimaginative and inefficient offense that’s trudging along in the mud towards 37 wins.
Perfect description of this team. It is time for this franchise to take risks to make this team better and pick a direction. This not only includes the roster but the coaching staff as well. This is a fool's gold playoff team.

Neither of Birch or Iwundu are going to cut it as a fill in starter until Isaac comes back. Who can WeHam muster up for that injured player exception?

AG sucks and is a selfish player. There were multiple times where he could have passed for a wide open 3 shot but nooooooo AG wants to be the next Lebron. No Bamba sucks. Can’t believe we picked him over Trea Young. Makes me want to vomit.

I decided to go cherrypick some of my very wise posts to make myself feel better.
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1829923&p=74509672#p74509672
I'm not saying I know everything, but I obviously knew that Richaun Holmes and Christian Wood were/are better than Vuc.
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1800208&p=72470398#p72470398
That would have been such a great trade for us. I would be worth of Executive of the Year if I had been in charge and pulled the trigger on that when I had the chance.
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1829329&p=74458240#p74458240
Casuals and Normies ruin everything. Game of Thrones (books > show, not close), video games (lol Fortnite), the Orlando Magic (All-Star Nikola Vucevic).

11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.
- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Re: Regular Season Game 46: Boston Celtics (29-14) at Orlando Magic (21-24) - 7pm ET
the problem with this team is roster construction and coaching.....Some players on this team has just run it's course, for me the main culprit is AG. He's so unreliable on the offensive end you would have to surround him with scorers just so he doesn't have to touch the ball unless it's a dunk.......this man is shooting poorly from almost EVERY spot on the court except right at the rim....I like the kid but to me the writing is on the wall, Chuma is a really similar player body wise and there is some overlap in terms of the skillset and role so if we trade AG in the off-season chuma is already there to step in.
Vuc can work on this team....just not as the first option, he needs to be complimentary and we need a coach that has to understand that......As long as there isn't superior offensive players around clifford will continue to rely on this crutch and to me it's to the detriment of JI and Fultz but then again these guys aren't ready to shoulder the load offensively and that shouldn't be forced imo because that could form bad habits
Fournier to me needs to be on the first thing smoking out of here, could care less where he ends up just hope it's not back here....ross can work but we need another guy or two with him, we can't focus the entire second unit attack around someone so streaky....we need a constant on the bench, it should be bamba but uh....yeah.....moving on
Clifford to me has to go, but i don't see that happening so we'll probably have to ride out his contract and let him walk but man....i've didn't expect us to be running an offense from out the damn stone age.......His stubborness with the rotations, his lack of in-game adjustments and lack of reading the flow of the game.....Man oh Man i wished we somehow was able to land Nick Nurse or someone who runs an offense that's suited for the 21st century
Weltham.....don't know what they're going to do since they run such a tight ship, but they have to do something.....they can't afford to have another "Evaluation Season" it's time to start getting our ducks in a row and start making a splash

I am telling you. We have an ownership group that doesn’t GAF.
When there is no accountability from ownership why should the workers and management even care?

I agree, ownership/front office is just terrible and it bleeds down throughout the team. No one really gives a **** and hey, I don’t really care much anymore either.

Re: Regular Season Game 46: Boston Celtics (29-14) at Orlando Magic (21-24) - 7pm ET
Not much left to say. This was one of those games where if you win and beat Boston at home without 2/3 of their best players there isn't much you could take from it but if you were to lose you could take a whole lot. We are organizationally just so far behind the upper echelon of the East it's honestly depressing. I'd be on board to hit the reset button on the entire basketball operations once again but we know that won't happen. && tbh if Alex Martins would be making the hire again it wouldn't really make a difference.
Weham deciding to keep Hennigan's core intact and hiring a retread coach in Clifford to try and squeeze all the wins he can out of them is why we are in this position today. It will more than likely still result in another 7-8th seed appearance which will lead to us getting swept in the first round but after looking at our next 10 games or so I wouldn't consider that a guarantee either.
I'm honestly not sure where we go from here, but I'm also pretty num to it at this point too. I would love to get excited about this team again, but its hard to do that when you have zero confidence in the people running it.

I don’t understand why we fired Rob Hennigan.
Our playoff run and wins so far have mostly been due to the Hennigan core.
Sure Isaac was a part of it last year and this year Markelle but it’s the Hennigan core that still drives this team.
