Considering they said 5 total deaths no survivors, I doubt it. Unless Kobe was piloting himself

I have no words. I started watching basketball because of Kobe, I started loving basketball because of Kobe. I was a Kobe fan before being a Lakers fan, but because of him I'm loving this team as much as I loved him. I cried like a little kid when he retired. I'm crying now...

God damn... There's always a ton of Helicopters flying over my house in Orange... Some are clearly cops and emergency and some military, but a lot of them look like point to point transportation... And I just had this thought about how that's kinda pushing the odds a bit. I thought sooner or later ones going to go down... That was like Friday.
It was just kind of an intense thought and worried me... I thought it was related to my Daughter being on the East Coast and traveling a lot...
Maybe not...
I also have this thought that pops into my head from time to time when I think about the Lakers... It's kind of a flashback sort of thing, but it's the headline "Kobe traded to...."
That was in my head when I woke up this morning.

Just a really Surreal thing right now...

I had kind of a love/hate thing with Kobe as a Lakers fan... I grew up a Magic Johnson fan. MJ and Kobe's style of play was never really my thing... I watch the Mavs game where he had 63 in 3 quarters or whatever and I was like "Of Course..." Then 81, and I was like "Sure..." It didn't really impress me, to be honest...

But then his final season rolled around, and his final game, and he left absolutely everything on the court... And I realized how much I, if not loved him as a player, at least respected what he had done for my team, comprehended how much I was going to miss him...

But not this way... Not like this.

what i gather so far is that TMZ was first then other stations followed that confirmed Kobe was on board, but it has not been officially confirmed by authorities.

Just walking around , going in and out of a couple of grocery stores in LA the last hour, you can feel the devastation in people. Everyone is talking about it .
The City of LA will feel this pain for years to come.
Laker Nation will be there for each other.

the number of people concerns me that the girls might have been involved. one of the only comforting things I can think of right now is that someday we could literally see a kobe daughter in the NBA

He was a great force for good in the world.
