A S-76 helicopter crashed this morning under unknown circumstances near Calabasas, Calif. local authorities say five people were on board. please check with local authorities for more information on the conditions of occupants. The FAA and NTSB will investigate."

The grief will extend far beyond Los Angeles. Kobe was one of the rare global superstar athletes that transcended his sport. The world will mourn his passing.

When I got home late last night I could barely see the downtown skyline due to heavily overcast skies. Been overcast today as well.

Was driving on Las Virgenes Rd a couple days ago. Those canyon areas can be dangerous. When the fog comes in the visibility can be near zero.
