Yeah, that's an organizational fail. I didn't watch the whole game - and I'm sure IT isn't the entire problem, but I saw enough to see he should no longer be playing at all. Almost every opportunity, Atlanta went to the player who he was guarding, and that players scored every time - easily. Hawks players were laughing. They need to stop playing him completely. It makes the organization look incompetent and foolish and can't help with morale.

It really isn't complicated. Stop playing IT. Don't play Bryant at PF. And restrict Beal's minutes enough so that he gives maximum effort at the defensive end. Just do that and this team will be competent defensively. They won't be "good", but probably something more like the 25th worst defense instead of worst-in-NBA-history bad.
