I get the fit between him and Embiid is messy, but I think he still provides a real productive role on this team. BB needs to get better at staggering this rosters minutes. There shouldn't ever be stretches of play where we're running Neto/Ennis/Scott/Pell(/O'Quinn) units.
We need more ball handling and shot creation, also more consistent role players than Ennis or Scott.
Kennard, Rose, Dinwiddie types really interest me. Mega pass on Bertans, Roco, Iggy etc
Yeah I don’t get trading horford. I don’t think we can advance past Milwaukee without him this year. I think Brett needs to put horford and the rest of the players in a better position to succeed. At same time there are some flaws to the roster construction that make horford an awkward fit at times.
Hopefully this stretch without embiid empowers Ben to assert himself more and to play more aggressive offensively. Think there was some growi pains/feeling things out with this team, as well as some pretty lackluster play from both embiid and Simmons to start year.
But yeah another ball handler/shot creator, high volume shooter, and an upgrade from Scott.
Not sure why you’re so adamant against Bertans, I’d take a player that can jack up 9 3s a game at 44%, might be too expensive to acquire and also with his pending free agency could turn into another overpay. I don’t like rose don’t want to root for him with his off court issues and all the other drama his just going awol in nyc. I don’t think he’s this perfect fit.
