Call me whatever you want but when you have passengers that are children ...you need to take every possible precaution to the tenth power. If that means that the conditions aren’t safe to fly then you don’t **** fly.

people literally fly in worse conditions every day, and you don't know what happened, he could've very well been pressured to fly by the passengers, or he could've done everything right but **** happens...point being you don't know, to say '**** the pilot' as if he's not himself a victim in this who has his own family grieving over his death as we speak is just trash.

You’re right. I’m just sad about the whole thing and wish none of it happened.

Earlier I suggested the pilot may get some blame but he went too far here. Also I pondered Kobe could of easily pressured him to take what they perceived as a slight risk because he trusted him. Kobe is essentially his employer. We don't know what really went down here.

And we likely never will - chalk it up as a tragedy. Pilot didn't have bad intentions from what we know. Not every story needs a villain

This is pretty cool move by the franchise that ended the kobe/shaq dynasty. Wasnt this someones idea for an all star game jerseys too, except just different colors for 8 and 24?

I have a hard time watching any Kobe highlights still. Can only watch/read stuff thats mourning his passing. Still cant believe that we'll never get to see him again.

Yeah, I woke up this morning and before I even opened my eyes, my mind was racing “Kobe Kobe Kobe”. This hurts badly.

They just showed the intro's and it was hard watching that. As a Lakers fan, it maybe best not to turn tbh

I am and while I’m sure everyone is processing this differently, I’d encourage you too as well. They just showed the pregame video montage of all the other players’ messages to him. This was such a happy night for the NBA, I think it might be positive to take in a happy memory of him.

I planned to watch Kobe’s final game but after seeing the pre game tribute video it’s just way too soon.
