its not even just cali my friend, anyone is a fan of ball will mourn and tears for Kobe :(

The High Cyde wrote:Came in to the office this morning, put my stuff down at my desk, and walked into my boss' office. Eventually we talked about Kobe, and damn if both of us didn't try to hold back tears. I was talking about how Kobe brought his daughter to the games, just the 2 of them and just show her so much love and care and just being a great dad, and that's what really impacted him. Told him I watched the dude grow up, he was a son to the city and we saw him become a man and a champion and a loving husband, but above all he was trying to be the best person possible, and the best father possible.

My boss isn't even from this country, but it's that loss of love that was so clear and true and infinite, that it stirs something deep and dark and heavy in you.

My sister who barely watches sports cried, another coworker of mine cried upon hearing, she even has a dog named Kobe, and if you're from here in Cali you know someone with a dog named Kobe man...

Insane loss, unfathomable at its core.

All I keep saying to myself is "Kobe man, Kobe." Like...it's Kobe. KOBE died. Still surreal.

If "free will' must be "allowed" it is not free will. There's no such thing as effect without cause, and if you must assign a cause/explanation(like god) it ceases to be free will.

It's hard because its Kobe Bryant. He was invincible on the court, nothing could hurt him, to our generation being told hes gone just like that, hurts because you just cant believe it. How can Kobe be gone?

It’s been 48 hours and I’m not over this

It’s just so surreal and painful looking at his Wikipedia page and seeing his birthday and day he passed

The last time the Lakers postponed a game was due to the Northridge Quake on 1/17/94 vs SAC. They rescheduled the game to Feb and they played 3 nights in a row. Just something I remember. They might do something similar in this situation. The Clippers and Lakers also had to move playoff games to Anaheim and UNLV during the 92 LA Riots.

I am convinced that if anyone could survive such a crash, Kobe would.

It just kind of reminds me of The Revenant (the movie, but i only read the book), in which the protagonist survived severed injuries by crawling like 15 miles in the snow or something crazy and got ahead of the guy who tried to kill him to get revenge, sorry if I m butchering the plot or something, but when i was reading the book, which is based on the true story, I didn't think anyone could do that, and the story seemed a little comical, but yah, Kobe Bryant would have **** done it.

I have been following Odom on instagram for the last couple years, and I am happy that he has found his way back from the valley. He played some ball in Philippines and tried out Big 3 last summer (didn't make it I think), and has been working out.

He also posted on IG after learning the news that he would have rather never waken up from that coma (the one that nearly killed him) if that means God could keep Kobe alive.
