Imagine thinking not hating on someone is being biased.

The city hates him? So what? That means no one can talk about him without hating on him? Stop getting upset just b/c not everyone is irrational when it comes to KP.

That’s a misreading though. He’s not saying that not hating KP is biased. He’s saying Knicks fans hate him and are biased, but that objectively his numbers sort of suck.

All these things are true.

If you try to be impartial with KP, you consider this the first season after a bad injury and with a new team. He might come through next year. That still doesn't mean he's been any good this year so far. Nor does it mean he will certainly be better next year.

True, if I'll say this, I never expected the Mavs to be this good. I thnk they would be fringe title contenders if KP was pre injuriy pre annual burnt out KP and Powell was healthy.

He's basically a lower efficiency and less skilled shot blocking version of prime shawn bradley with a below average 3 in his arsenal

They don’t sort of suck. They’re terrible.

I’m not sure they’ll get much better this year overall. He’ll still have the occasional monster performance. We just saw with Hayward that it takes a while for folks to get back into a groove. It takes time.

KP will have glimpses, but I don't see him coming remotely close to his preinjured form. Trading him was certainly the right thing to do.
